Nauczanie prawa kanonicznego w Wyższym Seminarium Duchownym diecezji siedleckiej w latach 1918-2018. Zarys problematyki

Abstract

The subject of the scientific article is the teaching of canon law in the Major Seminary of the diocese of Siedlce in the years 1918-2018. The author uses the historical-legal and dogmatic-legal method. The author analyzes the teaching of canon law in the context of intellectual and pastoral formation, which are involved in the preparation of the candidates for the ordination of the presbyterate. The study of the canon law has always been one of the basis for the priesthood’s instrumentarium. The author analyzes the norms of canon law, which form the basis for the teaching of the canon law in the Siedlce seminary, presents scientific profiles of seminar lecturers, textbooks and didactics. The teaching of the canon law was based in 1917 on the Codex Iuris Canonici, and from 1983 on the Code of Canon Law, whose norms are interpreted in the light of the ecclesiology of the Vaticanum Secundum.
