Pozycja Protestant krytycznie o „sola Scriptura”. Brada Easta argumenty przeciw reformacyjnemu pryncypiumZatwardnicki, Sławomir (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2022)The article presents the views of the author of the monograph The Doctrine of Scripture on the issue of the Reformation principle sola Scriptura. Brad East criticises the Protestant axiom from what he calls a catholic perspective. He wants to take as broad a view as possible, taking into account patristic and medieval thought and the theology of many Christian denominations, including the Roman Catholic one. Among the many arguments against the “Scripture alone” principle, the following ones have been pointed out: the impossibility of establishing the canon on the basis of Scripture alone, the formal insufficiency of Scripture, its perspicuity only in the Church, the silence of inspired books on matters requiring answers, the distinction between the word of God and Scripture, and the limited authority of the Holy Bible. The conclusions of the assistant professor of theology in the College of Biblical Studies at Abilene Christian University help as well to justify the Catholic belief in the necessary connection of Scripture, Tradition, and the Magisterium of the Church.Pozycja Sławomir Zatwardnicki, Od teologii objawienia do teologii natchnienia. Postulat papieża FranciszkaWojtczak, Adam (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2022)The Second Vatican Council is called “the Church’s council about the Church”. Its task was to renew the Church and her reference to the world. After the council, anthropological approach dominated in ecclesiology, which claimed that “man is the way of the Church”. Pope Francis’s teaching has become a part of this approach. For him the Church, like God, is searching for man, heals him and embraces him in order for him to feel loved. For this reason, everything should be saturated with tenderness. Since a considerable part of pope Bergoglio’s ecclesiology is marked by tenderness, then it is justified to ask how he understands the Church’s tenderness. This article attempts to address this question and presents the pope’s vision in four points. The first point shows the Church as clothed in the tenderness of the Three-Personed God; the second – showed her as a communion of tenderness ad intra; the third – as approaching the world with tenderness; the fourth – as inspired by Mary’s tenderness. Abundant literal quotations of the pope make it possible to express the reflections with the actual words of the pope.Pozycja Teologiczno-uniwersalna misja muzyki i śpiewu w ujęciu Jana Pawła IIWarzeszak, Józef (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2022)The author of this article presented a large chapter of John Paul II thoughts on instrumental and vocal music based on his speeches delivered after the music concerts dedicated to him, a domain not always perceived by the journalists. Combined together they reveal his abundant teaching on this area of European and Christian culture. The personal bond of the Pope with this area of creativity has been highlighted, and in a special way with the participation of Poles in it. The Christian inspirations of the greatest works of world music has been emphasized. The leitmotif of the papal speeches was the mission that both, instrumental and vocal music has to fulfill in the Church and in the world. This mission has the universal, theological and ecclesial character. They are not separated, but closely connected. In his speeches to the youth, the Pope almost always paid attention to the task of professional improvement, but also of integral human, cultural and religious formation. The music lifts the spirit to what transcends earthly existence. Through the harmony of music notes and dialogue with the instruments, the music leads to contemplation of the beauty of God and His adoration.Pozycja Teologia laikatu i synodalność jako droga realizacji powszechnego powołania do świętościProniewski, Andrzej (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2022)By virtue of Baptism, the believer receives grace from God, which supports him in the process of his sanctification. All people are called to holiness. It is a universal privilege granted by God to mankind. There are many ways to implement it. Among them, the post-Conciliar theology of the laity as well as the path of synodality rediscovered by Pope Francis deserve attention. Both are intended to help man achieve individual holiness of life as well as to realize its communion, community dimension. The analysis of the problem contained in the title of the article belongs to theological issues both in the theoretical and practical dimension and has been closed in three points: theology of the laity as the way to holiness (1), synodality as the choice of a conscious path towards holiness (2) and holiness as the synodal task of the laity (3).Pozycja Teologia człowieka według Josepha Ratzingera – Benedykta XVI(Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2022)Pozycja Realna obecność. SakramentalnośćOster, Stefan (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2022)Bishop Stefan Oster, a member of the german Synodal Path, gives an insight into his critical view of the reform project and recalls the standards of the scholastic theological disputation, which first embraces the arguments of the opponents and only afterwards enters into a critical debate with them. His suggestion ist, that renewal and spiritual conversion should come first and foremoste from the encounter with the living Christ.Pozycja Stanisław Celestyn Napiórkowski OFMConv, Teologia w Polsce na przełomie tysiącleci, Wydawnictwo KUL, Lublin 2022, ss. 365.Siwak, Wacław (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2022)Pozycja Andrzej Napiórkowski OSPPE, Podwójna tajemnica Kościoła, Wydawnictwo Bernardinum, Pelplin 2022, ss. 288.Sejbuk, Adam (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2022)Pozycja Der erlöste Mensch zum 5. Próba odpowiedzi na pytanie w świetle eschatologii Hansa Ursa von BalthasaraKulik, Bogdan (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2022)It seems that the recent events of the war in Ukraine, the worldwide economic crisis, climate change, and Covid 19 pandemic lead people to see in them the signs of the end of the world. This article is the attempt to consider current events in light of the faith in Christ and analyze the validity of the claim that we are nearing the end of the world. Instrumental in this endeavor will be the eschatology of Hans Urs von Balthasar – after the initial presentation of his view, the author presents Balthasar’s understanding of the end of the world and juxtaposes it with a view of an Italian theologian, Antonio Nitrola, who founds his view on eschatology on Parousia, the second coming of Christ. The article highlights the need of Christian understanding of preparation for death, and describes death as a personal end of the world, inevitable and necessary to be prepared for.Pozycja Sześć głównych prawd wiary. DopowiedzenieKrólikowski, Janusz (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2022)Pozycja Posłuszeństwo Ojcu w misji Jezusa ChrystusaKrólikowski, Janusz (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2022)Christ’s obedience which belongs to the mystery of the covenant is characterized by a specific form and content. It is focused on the fulfilling of the will of the Father, constituting the raison d’etreof Jesus Christ and internally defining His entire mission of salvation. Addressing the issue of Christ’s obedience as a crucial dimension of His existence and His divine mission among people implies the reflection on His love, His will to give Himself to save the world and His freedom of the Son of God who became man “for us”. Thus, the Christology of obedience constitutes the foundation of anthropology and defines its appropriate form. Therefore, it is in Christ’s human freedom, based on and expressed in His obedience, where our freedom of men and Christians is decided.Pozycja Ekumeniczne Dni Studyjne: „Jakiej jedności chcemy? The pandemic has degraded man in the name of man. To save man, he was deprived of his freedom and inviolable rights. The pandemic has spurred the emergence of different visions of the post-pandemic world. One of these visions was presented by the Italian philosopher Georgio Agamben in his book: Where are we now? The epidemic as politics. For Agamben, a pandemic is an illustration of a state of emergency and bare life. Also, the post-pandemic world will be a state of emergency based on naked life. A different vision of the post-pandemic world was presented by Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum from Davos, in his book Covid-19: The Great Reset. According to Schwab, the pandemic has reset the old normal. The world known in the first months of 2020 has gone down in history as the pre-coronavirus era. The reset of the pre-coronavirus era is the beginning of the post-coronavirus era. In both visions there is no room for Christian humanism. In the post-pandemic era described by Agamben and Schwab, there are visible attempts to replace a person with a new biometric human identity that boils down to pure biological data, such as fingerprints and digital photography. The new impersonal human identity will therefore be based on „naked” biological data. So a person will get an identity without a person. Although post-pandemic visions have no place for Christian humanism, they are theologically indebted. Instead of a creative God, they put a creative man. This creative man is no longer a Prometheus who steals secrets from God. He himself wants to be God. The theological debts of Agamben’s and Schwab’s visions are like a call for an experiment with Christian humanism.Pozycja Die Fürsprache Marias als ökumenisches ProblemErnst, Hanna (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2022)Nowadays Marian issues are a great challenge for participants in ecumenical dialogue. Noticing and properly reflecting them is of great importance in striving to achieve the unity of Christians, which is the will of Christ. Among the Mariological issues raised in discussions between different denominations, one of the more difficult contentious issues is the doctrine of the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Differences between denominations in perceiving this issue, initiated in the era of the Reformation, became consolidated and exist to this day. Opening the relationship between divided Christians, enabling joint consideration of this disputed issue, was associated with the beginning of a dialogue, freed from old emotions, tensions and prejudices. This article aims to answer the question of whether it is possible to re-read the mystery of Mary, her place and role in the Church as part of the ecumenical dialogue undertaken, leading to achieving unity regarding the issue of her maternal intercession.
