Abstrakt
The Reverend Idzi Ogierman Mański was a Salesian, a composer and an educator who included his musical passion into his priestly life. The first part of the article presents the most important features of Salesian charisma. Its realization in the priestly life of the Reverend Idzi Ogierman Mański and also in his musical and educational working was shown later in the article emphasizing his personal features. Especially the Reverend’s ardour in fulfilling his educational duties, his goodness and understanding towards his alumni together with his sacrifice for youth are strongly stressed. The contents of the article is substantiated with numerous recollections of the Reverend Mański’s friends and students.
