Pozycja O posoborowych modlitewnikach. Uwagi filologaWojtak, Maria (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)The article presents prayer books which have been in circulation since the Second Vatican Council. A classic prayer book has a fixed structure and a formative character as it transmits a religious outlook on life. It usually contains utterances written down in a hieratic style with elements of an official style. Modern prayer books do not have a fixed structure, even though, they retain the form of a silva (a collection of diverse genres). Their formative character consists in, either letting different subjects (saints or other moral authorities) speak, or in taking into account the worldview of an intended reader. This may lead to far-reaching stylistic openness consisting in the introduction of forms which are typical of given addressees’ community. Modern prayer books may adopt a colloquial style (including low registers), while their hieratic nature disappears.Pozycja Sztandar Hufca Szkolnego Przysposobienia Wojskowego z Gimnazjum Salezjańskiego im. Piusa XI w Różanymstoku z 1933 r. i jego symbolika. Z zagadnień weksylologiiWąsowicz, Jarosław (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Historical auxiliary sciences has lately been noticed to come to vogue among scholars, including Church historiographers in Poland. One example here is vexillology which deals with banners as real and symbolic military, national and territorial signs of organizations as well as social and religious groups. It retains a strong connection with heraldry from which it originates. The article covers the history and symbolism of the School Military Training Team banner of the Salesian Gymnasium of Pius XI in Różanystok from 1933.Pozycja L. Wałęsa, P. Napolitano, Libreria Editrice Vaticana 2011, ss. 166.Wąsowicz, Jarosław (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Pozycja Pocysterskie opactwo w Lądzie jako centrum kultury. According to the results, the most attractive cultural offer is visiting the church and the monastery as well as participation in the Festival of Slavic and Cistercian Culture. Further results will be presented successively in next publications.Pozycja „Tabula memorialis z Lądu” – oryginalny przykład pamięci o zmarłych i dokumentacji historii w cysterskim opactwie w 1. połowie XVIII wiekuNowiński, Janusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)In the post-Cistercian Abbey in Ląd-on-Warta a unique monument testifying to the commemoration of the deceased brothers and, at the same time, illustrating the historical tradition of Cistercian Abbeys in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, namely Tabula Memorialis, has been preserved till our times. Covered with oil polychrome, the wooden plate is divided into 14 square sections. The squares are framed and feature the abbreviations: RR. PP. VV. Fr. (Reverendi Patres Venerendi Fratres) accompanied by the Latin name of a respective Cistercian Abbey. The Abbeys come in the following order: 1. Ląd, 2. Jędrzejów, 3. Wągrowiec, 4. Oliwa, 5. Sulejów, 6. Wąchock, 7. Koprzywnica, 8. Mogiła, 9. Obra, 10. Paradyż, 11. Szczyrzyc, 12. Koronowo, 13. Bledzew, 14. Pelplin. The squares in each row are covered with a wooden lid that can be pulled out showing a pair of vanitative emblems painted against a cinnabar background. Each representation is accompanied by a banderole with a commentary. Tabula Memorialis was made in ca. 1745 to celebrate the 600th anniversary of the Ląd Abbey foundation. Its composition presents two content layers: a didactic one dedicated to the reflection on death (meditatio mortis, ars moriendi), and the historical one: presenting the foundation of 14 Cistercian Abbeys in the Polish Cistercian Province and promoting Ląd as the oldest one among them in Poland. Tabula Memorialis served for the ceremony of absolution of the dead during their collective recollection conducted in the chapter house.Pozycja I Zjazd Salezjańskich Pracowników Naukowych (Niepokalanów, 4-6 października 2013)Niewęgłowski, Jan (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Pozycja Regionalizm w Polsce – tradycja i współczesność (wybrane zagadnienia)Markocka, Magdalena (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)An analysis of the history of the formation of regionalism in Poland indicates the year 1989 as a breakthrough. Before that time, the traditional model of regionalism focused primarily on the socio – cultural area. After the introduction of a democratic system, many changes can be observed, which resulted in a wide catalog of activities concentrated on the development of the region and an increased number of companies undertaking such initiatives. Modern Polish regionalism consists, above all, of the activity of the local government and the citizens themselves, who respond to the requirements of European integration and globalization. These new aspects are associated with the concept of the new regionalism.Pozycja Krzysztof Malicki, Polacy i ich pamięć przeszłości. Studium socjologiczne pamięci zbiorowej na przykładzie regionu podkarpackiego, Zakład Wydawniczy Nomos, Kraków 2012, ss. 284.Łukawski, Krzysztof (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Pozycja Charakterystyka twórczości i założenia techniki kompozytorskiej Alicji GronauŁukaszewski, Marcin Tadeusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)This article presents the work of Alicja Gronau (b. 1957), composer, musical theorist, and teacher at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Since 1981, her oeuvre comprises 65 songs for solo instruments, chamber ensembles (strings, saxophones, flutes, various instruments), orchestra, a cappella choir, vocal-instrumental and multi-media compositions, as well as one chamber opera. The article analyses these genres on the basis of selected works. Gronau uses a wide range of compositional techniques, including elements of twelve-tone technique, aleatory, sonorism, open form and improvisation. She also employs major-minor tonality.Pozycja Wokół zagadnienia biopolityki. Koncepcje, cechy, perspektywyŁońska, Magdalena (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Biopolitics seems to be a concept of particular importance due to the pace of development of the biological sciences and changes in socio-politics. Its main objective ‒ ‘the welfare for each and all individuals’ ‒ takes on special meaning which makes one examine the foundation on which it is based and ask more profound questions, e.g., what is the true and real good for each individual and the whole community, and on what kind of foundations must it be built? Then, even if the question relates primarily to the biological field, so essential for biopolitics, the answer would reach beyond biological boundaries.Pozycja Application of Positive Psychology to Human Formation of Priests and Religious: the Active Program of Positive Personal Development (APPRO)Kwiatek, Piotr (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)This article presents a specific opportunity to apply the knowledge of positive psychology in furthering the human formation of clergy and religious. Dominika Savio w Częstochowie, 19 października 2013)Kościelny, Tomasz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Pozycja Negatywne skutki bezrobocia wtórnegoKoral, Jarosław (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)The phenomenon of unemployment – and repeated unemployment in particular – is currently the most important social problem affecting hundreds of millions of people around the world and millions in Poland. It threatens different social and age groups, in particular young people, women and those with the lowest level of education. Repeated unemployment is evil because it pushes workers to the margins of society, causing progressive poverty, destitution, increasing stress, and social and moral degradation. It causes conflicts within family life, contributes to the breakdown of marital ties and negatively affects relationships between family members.Pozycja Jan Mazerski SDB (1901-1944), biblista i orientalistaJędrzejewski, Sylwester (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)After studying in Rome and Jerusalem and conducting scientific explorations in Egypt, England, Holland, and France, Fr. John Mazerski served as a theologian and biblical scholar in Poland from 1933 to 1944. He was one of those scholars who in the fourth decade of the twentieth century reinvigorated Polish science, deepening expertise in biblical studies. He drew extensively on current archeological discoveries, particularly texts of neighboring cultures of Israel, to verify existing views. He believed that it is necessary in biblical exegesis to include the wider oriental cultural and religious environment because it has a significant effect on the shape and meaning of the biblical text. He included Jewish apocryphal literature among significant research sources. His study of the biblical texts in their original languages, search for ancient models which help to understand the biblical message, and respect for the Vulgate, the Bible of the Church, indicate that Fr. J. Mazerski was a biblical scholar, serving the Church in a competent and modern way. Unfortunately, he departed prematurely, dying in a bomb attack during World War II, only partially fulfilling his research, teaching and publishing intentions.Pozycja Gregoriańskie śpiewy procesji palmowej po Soborze Watykańskim II oraz ich polskie odpowiednikiBodzioch, Beata (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Scientific research on the Palm Sunday procession, specifically focusing on the characteristic chants used therein, began in Poland only in the 20th century. After the Second Vatican Council not only were there changes to the procession rite, but there were also far-reaching reductions in the former repertoire of chants. Polish church hymnals of the post-Council period are rather varied, depending on the hymnal editor’s vision. In the repertoire of ten hymnals researched and analyzed for this paper, only two chants can be found in common. Both are translations from Latin. Altogether, in the presented hymnal editions we find as many as twenty-four different chants. Polish editions contain many more chants than hymnals from other European countries.Pozycja XXVII Sympozjum Liturgiczne (WSD TS, Ląd nad Wartą, 18 października 2013)Błaszczyk, Radosław (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Pozycja Joachim Badeni, Czego dusza pragnie. Elementarz duchowy, Wydawnictwo M, Kraków 2011, ss. 95.Szlufik, Piotr (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)Pozycja Między postulatem współpracy rodziny ludzkiej a globalną etyką odpowiedzialnościAdamski, Krzysztof (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2014)This paper discusses pluralism and the uncertainty of trends in the global ethics of responsibility, contrasting them with Catholic social teaching. The article attempts to show both points of convergence as well as the controversy associated with the demand of global governance and proposed solutions for population control. A key determinant in the conclusive evaluation is the personalistic norm, that is, a complete picture of the human person.
