    Paraklet a grzech świata (J 16, 7-11)
Kudasiewicz, Józef (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1993)
The paper consists of three parts: 1. Text and context. There has been presented the relation of the pericopes with one another as well as with their context. Those pericopes are devoted to Paraclete. They belong to the farewell speech of Jesus (J 13, 1-16, 33). The disciples are upset about the Master’s imminent departure; He promisses them that we will not leave them alone. 2. The departure of Jesus and the coming of Paraclete. The sending of the Holy Spirit is a specific act made by God. That is why Jesus will send His Spirit only then when He will reveal fully His godhead through adoration. Paraclete may start His entire activity after the revelation has been completed. Paraclete is at the service of this revelation. 3. The sin of the world. Paraclete will reveal the sin of the world; He will do it in the hearts and consciences of the disciples; He will convince them that the world is guilty. The world means here this part of humanity who is under Satan and persists in error and sin. The world is not only unable to receive Paraclete but is also hostile towards Him.

    Kohelet i jego dzieło
Potocki, Stanisław (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1993)
To tell the truth the interpretation of Eccl has already had a long history, yet there are particularly three questions which call for a more precise approach, namely: who was Ecclesiastes? what is the literary structure of the work like? what is its theological message? A philological analysis of the name „Ecclesiastes” as well as the author’s opinions about his book point out that the work was written by a sage who had gained experience from his thorough and wise research into the values of the things which man finds in the world. One may detect a certain compositional layout in which one may distinguish the prologue, the central part and the epilogus. In the prologue, apart from the title of the book (1. 1) and a general maxim (motto) which summarizes the thought of the work, very important is the „programmatic” pericope which contains a list of the most crucial Ecclesiastes’ theses (1, 3-11). The actual work consists of four parts which embrace a couple of literary units bearing the same leading subject-matter. They are closed with characteristic reflections on joy (1, 12-2, 26; 3, 1-5, 19; 6, 1-9, 10; 9, 11-12, 8). The epilogue gives a general characteristic of Ecclesiastes and of sapiential creativity (12, 9-14). The theology of Ecclesiastes can be reduced to three theses: All values of this world pass away; Man cannot make his position on the earth permanent; Man cannot find any concrete order in the world; Life one arth does not grant happiness to man; Man must always remember about the future; A calling for joy. One should distinguish then in the work of Ecclesiastes a penetrating and critical evaluation of the reality in which man lives, and some practical hints on how man should approach to it.

    Maryja w świątyni
Rubinkiewicz, Ryszard (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1993)
The paper discusses the mariological aspects of the Gospel of Childhood according to St Luke (Lk 2, 22-40 and 2, 48-50). Everything that has been written in those pericopcs about Jesus and Mary occurs in the temple and comes about within the context of Passover. In the Gospel of Luce the temple in which 12-year-old Jesus is silting among teachers is the only place of teaching where Jesus teaches (Lk 19, 47; 20, 1; 21, 37 n.; 22, 53). Mary obeys the Law, She is full of maternal love towards Her Son. She suffers together with Him „a sign that is spoken against” (Lk 2, 34). She is always internally united with Jesus but She allows Him to follow the way set out by the Father. Beyond the family Fies there is God between Mary and Jesus. It is God who determines and governs everything. In Her internal and unique relation with Jesus Mary also learns to get to know God as the Father.

    Historia interpretacji Nowego Testamentu
Langkammer, Hugolin (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1993)
The paper deals with a history of the interpretations of the texts of the New Testament. It tells us about their creation and development as well as presents the results of this process. The first part reveals subsequent stages of the practical application of the exegesis (and even traces of there being some comments in the NT as to earlier tradition) from the post-apostolic time until the Middle Ages. The second, however, concentrates on the stages of the development of a scientific interpretation of the NT's text, taking into account the factors which stimulated it. This part spans over the period from humanism until Vatican Council II and also takes into account the repercussions which its teaching has brought about.

Myśl religijna i teologiczna Księgi Izajasza
Stachowiak, Lech (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 1993)
The paper concentrates around three religious and theological problems which occur in Is 1-39, i.e. the conception of God, the relation between Israel and Jahve, and the idea of the future regeneration. The source of Isaiah’s conception of God is the prophet's experience of the existence and salvatory will of Jahve within the frameworks of the prophetic revelation. The most important attributes of Jahve's will are: holiness, royal dignity and undivided sovereignty over the world. Israel appears in Is as a nation particularly linked with God. This relation has its roots in the calling of Abraham. The basic value for the nation is the Law by means of which God grants justice and law and order. Hence the prophet reprobates and reprimands Israel for trespassing the Law both in the religious and social sphere, and he calls on to them to repent and entirely stand for Jahve. The foundation of a multi-faceted regeneration which is going to take place is, according to Isaiah, the hitherto promisses and institutions made by God. Salvatory expectation is linked especially with Zion and the royal branch of David. The ideal Descendant of David as a future salvatory figure bears the characteristics which may later be termed as „messianic”.
