Abstrakt
The article presents a report on empirical investigation concerning the correlation between meaning of life and religiousness as lived relations to God. The problem is presented in the context of an analysis of the connections of both the variables. In the studies the following methods were used: the Purpose in Life (J. C. Crumbaugh and L. T. Maholick), and the Relation to God Scale (D. Hutsebaut). 134 subjects (secondary schools) were examined; two experimental groups (33 persons each) were compared - one of a low feeling of the sense of life and the other one of a high feeling of the sense of life. It was reported: 1. Persons of a high level of the feeling of life have essentially higher relations on dependence, identification, cohumanity, ethical norm, content of belief, 2. Persons of a low level of the feeling of life have essentially lower relations on rebelliousness and guilt. The research results have proved that there is a relation between the level of feeling of life and the relations to God as it is lived.
