Proces kierowania w edukacji – blaski i cienie

Abstract

The article explains the understanding of the term “management” developed based on management science, as well as characterizes the “management process” present in social sciences. The author discusses the process of managing a class team by the teacher specifying the conditions contributing to the effectiveness of didactic and educational work. Contemporary approaches to school leadership are discussed. In addition, educational leadership is presented as a process that includes the teaching process and the learning process. To illustrate the discussed issue a statement made by a Warsaw secondary school Headmaster was quoted.

W artykule wyjaśniono rozumienie terminu „kierowanie” wypracowane na gruncie nauk o zarządzaniu, jak również scharakteryzowano proces kierowania funkcjonujący w naukach społecznych. Przybliżono proces kierowania przez nauczyciela zespołem klasowym, wyszczególniono warunki przyczyniające się do skuteczności pracy dydaktyczno-wychowawczej. Omówiono współczesne podejście do kierowania szkołą. Przedstawiono ponadto przywództwo edukacyjne jako proces obejmujący swym zasięgiem proces nauczania i proces uczenia się. Dla zilustrowania poruszanej problematyki przytoczono wypowiedź dyrektora pracującego w jednej ze szkół średnich w Warszawie.
