Przyjaźń i przeszkody w jej rozwoju według „Rozmowy XVI z abba Józefem” Jana Kasjana w świetle duchowości pustyni

Abstract

Artykuł omawia podstawy teologii przyjaźni i główne przeszkody w jej rozwoju wskazane przez Jana Kasjana w jego Rozmowie XVI. Omawiane zagrożenia, głównie gniew, znajdują swoje całkowite odniesienie do nauki ojców pustyni z III-VI wieku zawartej w Apoftegmatach. Teologia Jana pokazuje przede wszystkim jego formację biblijną oraz dobre umocowanie we wschodniej tradycji monastycznej. Wskazuje również na znajomość literatury pozachrześcijańskiej, chociaż w Rozmowie XVI wykorzystywanej w minimalnym stopniu.The article discusses the basics of theology of friendship and the main obstacles to its development indicated by John Cassian in his Conference XVI. These threats, mainly anger, find their full reference to the teachings of the Desert Fathers from the third to sixth centuries included in the Apophthegmata. John Cassian’s theology primarily shows his biblical formation and good authority in the eastern monastic tradition. It also indicates the knowledge of non-Christian literature, although in such Conference used to a minimal extent.
