Antyfony mszalne a proklamacja Ewangelii na przykładzie repertuaru proprium średniowiecznych Mszy Narodzenia Pańskiego

Abstract

Liturgia od pierwszych wieków chrześcijaństwa była miejscem słuchania słowa Bożego. Obecny w niej był również śpiew. Opracowanie wykazuje, jak ważną funkcję pełnił śpiew w proklamacji Ewangelii na podstawie analizy repertuaru proprium missae z formularzy mszalnych na święto Narodzenia Pańskiego. Świadczy o tym zarówno dobór tekstów antyfon, jak i modyfikacje zachodzące w nich wobec oryginalnego tekstu biblijnego. Odczytanie treści teologicznej antyfon w kontekście myśli patrystycznej, ukazało, iż zostały one starannie dobrane w celu pogłębienia przesłania Ewangelii, będącej w centrum dnia liturgicznego.

The liturgy, from the first centuries of Christianity, was the place in which the Word of God were being listened by worshippers. A song was also present there. The studies show the importance of the singing function in the proclamation of the Gospel, based on the analysis of the proprium missae from the Mass forms repertoire for the Nativity of the Lord. This is evidenced by both, the selection of antiphon texts, as well as the modifications of the original biblical text. Reading the theological content of the antiphon, in the context of the patristic thought, demonstrated that the texts were carefully selected to deepen the Gospel message, as the Gospel is the centre of the liturgical day.
