Metanoia w życiu chrześcijanina w perspektywie trzeciego tysiąclecia

Abstract

As a positive reaction against the growing tendency of loosing the conscience of sin and weakening of spiritual and moral aspirations is the new evaluation of Christ’s calling to the metanoia’ (Mt 4,17). In this context the present research was undertaken, which had the main goal to answer the question: What is the part of metanoia in the process of person’s formation? The study was based on the authoritative fonts in this subject, i.e. the official Catholic Church Documents beginning from the Second Vatican Council. The definition of the ‘metanoia’ guided the whole study. In the process of reaching the Christian maturity the metanoia has its remarkable formative character and the formative value in the realization of Christ’s Paschal Mystery.
