Abstract

The most important tasks of the liturgy include the sanctification of man and bringing him to salvation. It is a model for all personal Christian prayer and the source of supernatural grace. In the centre of the liturgical life of the Church there is a Holy Mass. Thanks to her, we can see the unspeakable beauty of God’s love. Through the celebration of the liturgical year, we can meet Christ who is following the path of mercy to enable people to come closer to the saving mysteries of his life, death and resurrection. Not without significance is also Sunday, understood as a link integrating the entire liturgical year and the foundation of believers’ faith. In turn, studying the Eucharistic Prayers leads to the conclusion that they contain all the elements necessary for authentic spiritual life. On the other hand, Holy Communion and Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament in the area of the Catholic liturgy increase Christian piety and teach attitude of constant presence before God, and ultimately lead to personal conversion, or rediscovery of the treasure of faith.

Do najważniejszych zadań liturgii należy uświęcanie człowieka oraz doprowadzenie go do zbawienia. Jest ona wzorem dla wszelkiej osobistej modlitwy chrześcijańskiej oraz źródłem nadprzyrodzonych łask. W centrum życia liturgicznego Kościoła znajduje się Msza św. Dzięki niej możemy ujrzeć niewysłowione piękno Bożej miłości. Poprzez obchód roku liturgicznego możemy spotkać Chrystusa, który kroczy drogą miłosierdzia, aby umożliwić ludziom zbliżenie się do zbawczych tajemnic Jego życia, śmierci i zmartwychwstania. Nie bez znaczenia jest także niedziela, rozumiana jako ogniwo scalające cały rok liturgiczny oraz fundament wiary osób wierzących. Z kolei przestudiowanie modlitw eucharystycznych prowadzi do wniosku, że zawierają one wszystkie elementy konieczne dla autentycznego życia duchowego. Natomiast Komunia św. i adoracja Najświętszego Sakramentu w przestrzeni liturgii katolickiej zwiększają pobożność chrześcijańską oraz uczą postawy trwania przed Bogiem, a ostatecznie prowadzą do osobistego nawrócenia, czyli ponownego odkrycia skarbu wiary.
