Relacja terapeutyczna. Definicje stosowane we współczesnych modalnościach psychoterapeutycznych

Abstract

The article presents set of definitions of the relationship which develops in a therapeutic contact. The author shows understanding of the therapeutic relationship typical of psychoanalysis, cognitive-behavior therapy, humanistic currents and Gestalt therapy. He also mentions the results of the study conducted in the period of 2004-2012 oriented on the identification of those factors which significantly influence on the efficiency of the running psychotherapy. Among the variety of groups of factors featured in the study the attention is paid to the fact of independence of the results of the running psychotherapy from the theoretical assumptions of the current in which the therapist works.
