Motywy akwatyczne w poezji Wincentego Korab-Brzozowskiego

Abstract

Artykuł stanowi próbę przedstawienia obecności motywów akwatycznych w lirycznej twórczości Wincentego Korab-Brzozowskiego. Mówiąc o żywiole wody obecnej w liryce tego poety, wyeksplikowano i omówiono funkcjonowanie wodnych reprezentantów, takich jak choćby morza, oceanu, strumienia, fontann, łez czy płatków śniegu. Przeprowadzona analiza prowadzić miała do zaakcentowania refleksyjnego charakteru wodnego żywiołu i obecnych tu motywów mare tenebrarum, myśli hinduskiej, narracji o Narcyzie czy Maeterlinckowskich powinowactwach.The article is an attempt to present the presence of aquatic motifs in the lyrical work of Wincenty Korab-Brzozowski. Speaking about the element of water present in this poet’s poems, the functioning of water representatives, such as the sea, ocean, stream, fountains, tears and snowflakes, was expounded and discussed. The analysis carried out was intended to emphasize the reflective nature of the water element and the motifs of mare tenebrarum, Hindu thought, the narrative of Narcissus and Maeterlinck’s affinities.
