Teologia krzyża Marcina Lutra. Podstawowe założenia i przesłanie

Abstract

Celem niniejszego artykułu było ukazanie teologii krzyża Marcina Lutra. Teologia krzyża Lutra zwraca przede wszystkim, radykalnie i dramatycznie zarazem, uwagę na centrum wiary chrześcijańskiej. Krzyż ukazuje w najwyższym stopniu tajemnicę Boga-Miłości, ale rzuca zarazem światło na krzyże, pokusy, upokorzenia i niegodziwości, które dotykają także dzisiejszego człowieka. Krzyż Syna Bożego i krzyże ludzkie łączą się ze sobą w przedziwnej wymianie, otwierając przed człowiekiem poszukiwaną perspektywę zbawienia. Słowo krzyża ukazuje Boga i przybliża Jego zbawczą obecność. Deus humilium – upokorzony Bóg pokornych jest naszym Bogiem, jest solidarny z nami, sprawiając, że nie jesteśmy nicością. Odkrycie prawdziwego Boga za pośrednictwem krzyża Chrystusa to odkrycie Jego pokory i zdemaskowanie naszej pychy, która tak bardzo rozpowszechniła się w obecnym czasie. Teologia krzyża Lutra, ale także wielu innych teologów wszystkich czasów, skutecznie prowadzi nas do Chrystusa.

The aim of this article was to present the theology of the cross of Martin Luther. Luther’s theology of the cross, above all, draws attention both dramatically and once and for all to the center of the Christian faith. The cross shows in the highest degree the mystery of God-Love, but at the same time casts light on the crosses, temptations, humiliations and base behaviours that also affect today’s human. The Cross of the Son of God and human crosses combine with each other in a wonderful exchange, opening before the human being the sought after perspective of salvation. The word of the cross shows God and brings Him closer to His saving presence. Deus humilium – humbled God of the humbled is our God, he is loyal to us, making us not a nothingness. The discovery of the true God through the cross of Christ is the discovery of his humility and the unmasking of our pride, which has become so widespread in the present time. Theology of the cross of Luther, but also many other theologians of all times, effectively leads us to Christ.
