Abstract

The emergence of Christianity in a given nation is not an indifferent matter, as it means the beginning of mutual penetration, cooperation or struggle. Mutual cooperation is beneficial for both realms, the fight destroys both. There may be different values shaping the nation, but only in Christianity is the full understanding of the person, and hence the full understanding of the natural community created by people. The more persons they are, the more the community is a community. The nation has a communal character, therefore Christianity shapes national values to the highest degree. The history of various nations indicates this fact, as well as the reflections of their representatives. This article clearly shows this. The issues raised in it deserve a broader general study, also with reference to individual nations.
