Objawienie „zakończone wraz ze śmiercią ostatniego apostoła”? Znaczenie i ograniczenia formuły

Abstract

Artykuł omawia klasyczne znaczenie formuły „Objawienie zakończyło się wraz ze śmiercią ostatniego Apostoła” i prezentuje jej przedsoborową krytykę. Formuła nie została włączona do soborowej konstytucji Dei verbum; Sobór przesunął akcent z Apostołów na Chrystusa i z „zamknięcia” („zakończenia”) na „wypełnienie”. Posoborowe nauczanie Kościoła także nie zawiera omawianej formuły, lecz stwierdza sam fakt wypełnienia objawienia w Chrystusie. Jest to owoc pogłębionej refleksji teologicznej nad rzeczywistością Objawienia Bożego, na przykład przez odróżnianie autentyczności ksiąg świętych od ich kanoniczności, Objawienia od natchnienia biblijnego, dostrzeganie biblijnego bogactwa słowa „apostoł”, wreszcie odejście od czysto intelektualistycznej koncepcji Objawienia. The article talks over the classical meaning of the formula “the Revelation ended with the death of the last Apostle” and presents her pre-council critique. Present elaboration postulates the abandonment of her usage and postulates the precise translation and presentation of the Church teaching about “the fulfilment of the Revelation in Christ”.
