Abstract

The aim of the present study is to illustrate the adequateness of the activities undertaken by the state institution of Voluntary Labour Corps (VFL – Ochotnicze Hufce Pracy) within the scope of preparing young people taking part in the activities organised by that organisation for social and marital life. The study depicts the history of forming VFL structures, legal foundations of VFL activity, educational and rehabilitation activities of young people. The final part of the study presents the views of the youth with regard to the institution of marriage, which constitutes for them a life perspective.
