Abstract

In Catholicism constant and variable elements are unified in a mysterious way, owing to which the Church is always alive and topical. However, tendencies are increasing to recognize the Church as wholly variable to its very depth. Still, the essence of the Church must not be infringed, and all the transformations and reforms, be it collective or individual, must be subjected to the Holy Spirit, as well as to the Church hierarchy and to the faith of God’s people.
