Abstract

Artykuł prezentuje wieloznaczność pojęcia „zrównoważony rozwój” wraz z uwydatnieniem istoty idei trwałego rozwoju. Najpierw ukazuje się początki występowania pojęcia, a następnie próbuje się przedstawić kategorię „zrównoważonego rozwoju” w świetle różnorodnie interpretowanych wzajemnych zależności jego trzech wymiarów: społeczeństwa, ekonomii i ekologii.The article concerns the ambiguity of the idea of sustainable development. It presents the origin of the idea and examines the category of sustainable development and its interpretation, which varies according to the concept of the reciprocal dependence of the three dimensions (society, economy, ecology) that one assumes.
