Integralna antropologia i idea uniwersalizmu wychowawczego jako ramy interpretacyjne sportu

Abstract

Celem artykułu jest ukazanie wychowawczego potencjału sportu w świetle integralnej wizji człowieka oraz jego uniwersalistycznego wymiaru. Autor wychodzi od personalistyczno-teologicznego fundamentu antropologicznego, ukazując jedność ducha i ciała, natury i łaski oraz wymiaru doczesnego i wiecznego. Następnie przedstawia biblijno-teologiczną koncepcję cielesności, w której ciało jawi się jako miejsce objawiania osoby i działania łaski. W tej perspektywie sport zostaje odczytany jako przestrzeń integralnego rozwoju człowieka: fizycznego, psychicznego, moralnego, duchowego i wspólnotowego. W dalszej części artykułu zaprezentowano historyczne źródła idei uniwersalizmu sportu – od antyku po nowożytny olimpizm – oraz omówiono trzy kluczowe wymiary tego uniwersalizmu: aksjologiczny, etyczny i społeczno-ludyczny. Artykuł kończy się refleksją teologicznomoralną, wskazującą na sport jako przestrzeń kształtowania cnót osobistych i społecznych, budowania więzi oraz realizacji powołania osoby ludzkiej. Całość ukazuje sport jako zjawisko przekraczające granice kulturowe i religijne, zdolne do wspierania wychowania do wartości uniwersalnych.

This article aims to examine the educational potential of sport in the light of an integral vision of the human person and its universalist dimension. It begins with a personalist-theological anthropological foundation, emphasising the unity of body and spirit, nature and grace, and temporal and eternal dimensions. It then presents a biblical-theological understanding of corporeality, in which the body is seen as the place where the human person is revealed and grace acts. From this perspective, sport is interpreted as a space for the integral development of the person in physical, psychological, moral, spiritual and communal aspects. The article subsequently outlines the historical origins of the idea of sporting universalism, from antiquity to modern Olympism, and analyses three key dimensions of this universalism: axiological, ethical and socio-ludic. It concludes with a theological-moral reflection that highlights sport as a locus of personal and social virtue formation, community building, and the realisation of the human vocation. Overall, sport emerges as a phenomenon that transcends cultural and religious boundaries and supports education in universal values.
