Work is a fundamental phenomenon for the development of a person as well as societies. It constitutes one of the most elementary and important aspects of public existence. It is impossible to separate the process of educating from work, because as one of the most important methods of educating and socialising a child, work is the aim as well as the result of educating. The pre-school period and the experience gained at this stage of education influence the development and the future of a child in a remarkable way. At that age, children first face new challenges, fulfill particular roles, perform their duties and have fun and satisfaction as they complete their tasks. As they grow accustomed to work, children develop new skills, learn to appreciate their and other people’s work, and acquire discipline and responsibility. A child begins to understand the social sense of work and what it means to it. Participating, as they do, in various kinds of work, children learn about the reality of life, satisfy their curiosity, broaden their knowledge, and develop some desirable attitudes and features of character. It also helps them to develop their motor skills and nervous system, as well as to intensify the sense of social bond and to increase their self-confidence. Educational activities, which accustom a child to work during the pre-school period in an interesting, attractive and joyful way, not only familiarize a child with the world of real work, but also positively influence its comprehensive development in all areas of its activity.
