Regulacja urodzeń a przemiany społeczno-gospodarcze w Chińskiej Republice Ludowej

Abstract

Artykuł pokazuje, jak wielki wpływ na przeludnienie Chin miały dawne tradycje i polityka pierwszych liderów partii komunistycznej (zwłaszcza Mao Tse-tunga). Tradycja ma zasadniczy wpływ na model rodziny, zwłaszcza na terenach wiejskich, które zamieszkuje około 75% populacji Chin. Biorąc pod uwagę warunki życia duża rodzina ma na wsi większe szanse na przetrwanie. Jednak poglądy Chińczyków powinny się zmienić: ważna dla rozwoju przemysłowego jest redukcja liczby osób zatrudnionych w rolnictwie i mieszkających na wsi. Przeludnienie stało się najważniejszym problemem Chin, z którym kraj ten nie poradzi sobie bez pomocy państw zachodnich.This article indicates that the big influence on the overpopulation of China have traditions and previous policies of former party leaders (especially Mao Tse-tung). Tradition has the crucial influence over family model in particular in rural areas, where about 75% of the population live. Taking the social changes into account large families have a greater possibility of survival especially in the country. People should reform worldview thought of Chinese. This is important for the development of cities and industry – reduce the group of people employed in agriculture and living in rural areas. Overpopulation has become a global problem in China. China without financial aid from the Western countries it will be difficult to cope with a growing population.
