Logoterapia Frankla w optyce redukcjonizmów antropologicznych

Abstract

Artykuł wprowadza w główne założenia antropologiczne logoterapii Viktora Emila Frankla w kontraście do redukcjonistycznych paradygmatów antropologicznych. Podkreśla, że logoterapia, z jej osiową koncepcją ontologii dymensjonalnej oraz „woli sensu”, oferuje holistyczne spojrzenie na człowieka, wykraczające poza modele biologiczne, psychologiczne czy społeczne. Frankl akcentuje wolność, niepowtarzalność i duchowy wymiar ludzkiej egzystencji, wskazując na fundamentalną rolę odnajdywania sensu w życiu, nawet w obliczu cierpienia. Praca ta stanowi obronę pełniejszej wizji człowieczeństwa w psychologii, podkreślając, że poszukiwanie sensu jest głęboko egzystencjalnym pragnieniem oraz podstawową siłą motywacyjną człowieka.

This article introduces the central anthropological tenets of Viktor Emil Frankl’s logotherapy in contrast to reductionist anthropological paradigms. It emphasises that logotherapy, with its pivotal concepts of dimensional ontology and the “will to meaning”, offers a holistic perspective on human beings, transcending biological, psychological, or social models. Frankl emphasises the freedom, uniqueness, and spiritual dimension of human existence, underscoring the fundamental importance of finding meaning in life, even in the face of suffering. This study defends a more comprehensive understanding of humanity in psychology, emphasising that the search for meaning is a profound existential desire and a primary motivational force for human beings.
