Poczucie własnej wartości – wychowanie do uniwersalizmu w myśli filozoficzno-pedagogicznej

Abstract

Artykuł podejmuje temat współczesnych wyzwań wychowania, które toczy się w świecie dynamicznych przemian społecznych i kulturowych. Zmieniają one sposób myślenia i oczekiwania młodych ludzi, a także wpływają na rolę rodziców, szkoły i nauczycieli. W tym kontekście system uniwersalizmu jawi się jako propozycja wychowawcza sprzyjająca pełnemu rozwojowi człowieka – wzmacniająca poczucie własnej wartości, odpowiedzialność moralną i zdolność łączenia różnorodnych doświadczeń wokół wspólnie uznanych wartości dobra. Autorka podkreśla, że biografia każdej osoby kształtuje się w napięciu między indywidualnymi aspiracjami, społecznymi oczekiwaniami, warunkami życia i wpływem instytucji. W tej sytuacji szczególne zadanie spoczywa na wychowawcy, który – wrażliwy na kulturę wartości – towarzyszy młodemu człowiekowi w odkrywaniu jego potencjału i w odpowiedzialnym kształtowaniu własnej drogi życiowej.The article analyses the challenges of contemporary upbringing, which unfolds in the context of profound social and cultural changes that affect both the younger generation and the traditional environments responsible for education—parents, schools and teachers. In this perspective, the system of universalism is presented as an educational project that fosters the full development of the person, strengthens self-esteem, nurtures moral responsibility, and integrates diverse experiences around values commonly recognised as good. The author emphasises that although every individual creates their own life pattern and biography, this process is not entirely arbitrary. Life is shaped within the tension between personal aspirations, social expectations, living conditions and the influence of institutions. In this process, the educator, acting in the spirit of universalism and with sensitivity to the culture of values, plays a crucial role, accompanying the young person in discovering their potential and consciously shaping a responsible life path.
