Abstrakt
The Eucharist makes present and actualises the event of Jesus of Christ, especially in the aspect of His salvific Offer. It is also the revelation and, as it were, insight in the mysteries of the Holy Trinity. The source of the Eucharist is the acting Triune God. He Himself is in fact the everlasting and continuous Eucharist. The essence of the latter is personal giving of oneself and incessant thanksgiving for this gift. Jesus Christ in the Eucharist unveils this mystery of God in the Trinity of Persons. The celebration of the Eucharist, that is, the Holy Mass and eucharistie cult is the place and sign of the revelation of the most profound mystery of God in the Trinity of Persons.
