Jeszcze o hipotezie śmierci cieplnej wszechświata

Abstract

W literaturze filozoficznej często pojawia się problem śmierci cieplnej Wszechświata. W niniejszym artykule dyskutuje się niektóre błędy i nieporozumienia dotyczące tego problemu. W historii hipotezy śmierci cieplnej można wyróżnić następujące fazy: 1) rozważania fenomenologiczne, 2) przejście do metod statystycznych, 3) sformułowanie relatywistyczne. Następną fazą będzie prawdopodobnie kwantowe potraktowanie zagadnienia. Problem śmierci cieplnej Wszechświata znalazł rozwiązanie w ramach relatywistycznej termodynamiki i relatywistycznej kosmologii. Drugie praw o termodynamiki w relatywistycznym sformułowaniu również podkreśla monofoniczny wzrost. entropii związany z procesami nieodwracalnymi. Jednakże w niestacjonarnych polach grawitacyjnych stan śmierci cieplnej nigdy nie zostanie osiągnięty. Z praw em w zrostu entropii w sposób istotny łączy się problem „strzałki czasu”. Niektóre, filozoficznie interesujące, aspekty tego problem u również zostały przedyskutowane.

The problem of thermal death of the Universe often appears in philosophical publications. In the present paper some errors and misleadings concerning this problem are briefly discussed. One may distinguish the following phases in the history of thermal death hypothesis: 1) phenomenological considerations, 2) transition to the statistical methods, 3) relativistic formulation. The next phase, most probabely, will consist in quantum treating of the problem. The problem of thermal death of the Universe is solved within the frame of relativistic thermodynamics and relativistic cosmology. The monotonic increase of the entropy connected with irreversible processes is also stressed by the relativistic formulation of the second law of thermodynamics. However the state of thermal death never will be reached in non-stationary gravitational field. The problem of the “arrow of time” is strongly connected with the entropy increase law. Some philosophically interesting aspects of this problem are also discussed.
