Abstract

The article describes the reflection concerning a fundamental truth of Christian creed, which is the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. In the early modern period there was the reflection cornering the relation of the Resurrection with history. After general shaping of complexity and variety of the Resurrection issue, especially in a historical aspect, a various and rich thought of French Jesuit theologian Joseph Moingt, who his reflection focuses on paschal event. Moingt pursues theology in the Times of “God’s death” and in the context of secularized world. Using the requirements springing from “critical mind” and “critical mind” in the context of the Resurrection historicity makes his reflection original, breaking some traditional patterns of presenting this problem, in order to encourage to deep and authentic effort of a person who searches “the understanding” of faith.
