Court-show jako gatunek telewizyjny

Abstract

Sądowe widowiska są reprezentowane w TVN przez programy: Sędzia Anna Maria Wesołowska i Sąd Rodzinny. Artykuł skupia się na ich wyróżnikach: kreowaniu autentyzmu, specyficznej budowie fabuły, dydaktyce. Gatunek telewizyjny, określany jako court-show, jest oparty na schemacie procesu sądowego, który przypomina przedstawienia teatralne. Techniki telewizyjne dodatkowo ułatwiają i uatrakcyjniają odbiór. Należą do nich retrospekcyjne filmiki ilustrujące ustalenia prokuratora zawarte w akcie oskarżenia, paski z informacjami o bohaterach oraz ich najbardziej znaczące wypowiedzi. Sądowy serial realizuje społeczną misję w rzeczywistości ukształtowanej przez kulturę masową.

The court-show genre is represented on TVN station by two programs: Sędzia Anna Maria Wesołowska (Judge Anna Maria Wesolowska) and Sąd Rodzinny (The Family Court). This article presents the permanent features of such shows: ways of achieving the authenticity and the specific creation of the plot, didactics. A court-show genre is based on the trial scheme that is staged as a theatrical performance. The television techniques additionally make the perception attractive and easy: that flashbacks illustrate the prosecutor’s assumptions and his way of thinking, his deduction, the subtitles include information about the trial participients and significant statements of the both parties. A social mission is realized by court-show in our reality of mass culture.
