Wychowanie do ekumenizmu

Abstract

Celem niniejszego artykułu było ukazanie wychowania do ekumenizmu na podstawie wybranych dokumentów Kościoła katolickiego. Analiza dokumentów Kościoła pod kątem wychowania do ekumenizmu pokazuje, iż problematyka ta przynajmniej w teorii znajduje należne miejsce. Kościół poświęca wiele uwagi kwestiom związanym z poszczególnymi elementami tej postawy, a więc z poznaniem doktryny własnego Kościoła, z otwartością na wyznawców innych religii i ze zdolnością do dialogu międzyreligijnego. Kościół wielką wagę przywiązuje do ekumenicznej formacji, zarówno duchownych, jak i świeckich, bo to od ich postawy zależy owocność procesu wychowania. Jeśli potrafią oni obiektywnie, życzliwie, odważnie, z wyraźnym wyakcentowaniem tego, co łączy, a nie – co dzieli, przedstawiać główne prawdy wiary na różnych poziomach nauczania, zestawiając je z nauką innych chrześcijan, wtedy można mówić o autentycznym zaangażowaniu w ruch ekumeniczny.The purpose of this article was to show education for ecumenism based on selected documents of the Catholic Church. The analysis of YHE Church documents in terms of education to ecumenism shows that at least in theory the issues finds its rightful place. The Church devotes a lot of attention to matters related to particular elements of this attitude, and thus with the recognition of the doctrine of own Church, with openness to the followers of other religions and with the capacity for interreligious dialogue. The Church pays great attention to the ecumenical formation of both the clergy and the laity as the fruitfulness of the education process depends on them. If they can objectively, kindly, bravely, with a clear emphasis on what unites and does not divide, present the main truths of faith at different levels of teaching, comparing them with teaching of other Christians, then one can say about true involvement in the ecumenical movement.
