Sukcesja apostolska jako zasada samokontynuacji Kościoła

Abstract

Artykuł prezentuje katolickie rozumienie sukcesji apostolskiej jako istotnej zasady samokontynuacji Kościoła w historii. Autor wskazuje na istniejący w Kościele pierwotnym integralny związek sukcesji apostolskiej z Tradycją wiary i eklezjalną communio. Podaj e historyczne i teologiczne przyczyny powstania jurydycznej koncepcji sukcesji apostolskiej w okresie kontrreformacji. Następnie omawia rodzaje sukcesji (formalną, materialną i egzystencjalną), prezentuje pneumatologiczną interpretację wypracowaną przez Vaticanum II oraz ukazuje ekumeniczną perspektywę współczesnych dyskusji o istocie i zakresie sukcesji apostolskiej.

This article demonstrates the catholic understanding of the apostolic succession as a fundamental auto-continuation of the Church in history. The author reveals, existing in the primitive Church, integral connection of the apostolic succession with Tradition and ecclesial communio. He offers historical and theological reasons for rising of the juridical concept of the apostolic succession at the time of counter-reformation, follow by indication of various kind of succession (formal, material, existential), describes pneumatic interpretation elaborated by Vaticanum II. At the end he presents ecumenical perspectives of the present day discussions regarding the essence and realm of the apostolic succession.
