Pozycja Eklezjalny wymiar sakramentówJeżyna, Krzysztof (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)The Conciliar revival of the vision of the Church and of vocation had enhanced the status of the communal character of Christian life. The community of the Church is a necessary milieu for religious and moral life of Christians. It is in the Church that the encounter with the saving God takes place, and owing to the sacraments a man is sanctified. Sacramental grace gives rise to moral obligations, and moral life requires turning gifts and obligations that issue from sacraments into actual deeds. This means that sacramental gifts indicate the moral imperative, and moral life acquires the style of sacramental life. One of the most important moral imperatives of sacramental life is its communal dimension.Pozycja Kościół a przemiany kulturowe globalizacjiJeżyna, Krzysztof (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2012)The phenomenon of globalisation is dynamic, and develops mostly through market-related mechanisms and information technology. Globalization creates new social circumstances and influences all aspects of culture. Globalization processes and population migrations bring about new relationships and enable intercultural exchange. At first, the economic issues were considered central for globalization processes. In time, cultural change was acknowledged as equally important. Recognizing the economic and the cultural aspects of the globalization phenomena made the researchers launch studies on the influence of the market-related mechanisms on culture. The deeper insight into the cultural aspect of globalization enabled highlighting the personalistic aspect of culture, that is the value of the human being as a source of any social order and the foundation of each cultural system. Considering the phenomenon of globalization together with the impact it has on culture justifies the use of the concept of „globalization of culture.”Pozycja Małżeństwo sakramentalne w misji nowej ewangelizacjiJeżyna, Krzysztof (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2009)Marriage as a sacrament of mission contributes to the spouses' personal salvation and to the care for the salvation of others. The mission of marriage results from the sacramental and salutary character of this community. Recognition of the sacramental character of marriage is connected with the salutary message that is the basic contents of evangelization. The essence of the sacrament of marriage is transmitted by the historic-salutary character of the marital covenant referring to the biblical idea of covenant. The communal character of marriage is expressed in the concept of communio personarum. God’s love is the source of the unity of marital community, as human love is included in the supernatural love of the Holy Trinity. Marriage and family as a subject of evangelization, serving a new life, aims at a full development and salvation of its members. Moreover, their responsibility for the Church is connected with participation in the evangelizing mission towards the world.Pozycja Postawa chrześcijan wobec globalizacjiJeżyna, Krzysztof (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2013)Christians, like all people, seek an answer to the question that trouble the present time. Globalisation today is an extremely important, and ambivalent, issue that calls for a moral interpretation on the part of the Church. The phenomena of globalisation cannot be stopped or even reduce. If, however, globalization is ambivalent for the Christian, it is important to critically analyse its effects, recognize its accomplishments, and notice its threats. Approving of the positive aspects of globalization, Christians should find some forms of involvement in it. The main mission of the Church at the moment is new evanglisation, its important part being the preaching of the Church’s social doctrine. If man is to be saved where he lives, one should be engaged in the forms of preaching and acting which serve the dignity of the human person and human rights, the common good, and interpersonal solidarity.Pozycja Sakramentalny charakter życia moralnegoJeżyna, Krzysztof (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2010)The post-Council reflection on understanding sacraments and their significance for moral Christian life should show their personalistic and salutary, ecclesial and social dimension. Holy sacraments have the character of a personal encounter with Christ, and through Him – with the Father and the Holy Spirit. God turns to the man with His gift of salvation and makes him able to accept the gift and give an answer. Accepting sacramental gifts requires understanding the moral imperative in them, which makes a Christian’s moral life acquire the style of sacramental life. The Church that is a sacrament, owing to the presence of Christ-Sacrament in it, is the natural environment for the growth and development of moral life. A new emphasis in the post-Council revival is that Christians, as members of the Church-sacrament, should become a „sacrament” of Christ’s presence and His salutary mystery in the world.
