Pozycja Eklezjologia w służbie odnowy KościołaSalis, Miguel de (Wydawnictwo Pallottinum, 2019)The purpose of the article was to show ecclesiology in the service of the Church’s revival. The author emphasizes that the church’s revival is a phenomenon that should include all faithful Christians. Firstly, the Church is a living mystery, wandering in history with its living secret. Ecclesiology that serves revival must respect the priority of this life, accompanying it and offering it the necessary solidity to be able to take further steps. Secondly, ecclesiology must respect the presence and role of the Holy Spirit in the Church, in its various fields and at various levels throughout history, because He is the source of ecclesial revival. Ecclesiology, which forgets the role of the Holy Spirit and charisms, can only be used for partial revival, often without reaching a concrete life for people. Thirdly, ecclesiology, which serves the revival of the Church, has to define well relationship between the church mystery and history, deficiency in this regard may reduce the actual possibilities of revival. The history of the Church teaches us that no revival movement was brought to the end without the participation of the consecrated life. Therefore, if the ecclesiology wants to serve the revival, it must take into account the significance of this ecclesial reality. Fourthly, in order to serve to the ecclesial revival, there is a need to obtain ecclesiological vision that respects and deepens the relationship between the nature and the mission of the Church. As the last popes have already emphasized, one should wish so as the ecclesiological discourse to reveal greater relationship between two poles of the ecclesial mystery, that is, between nature and mission. It may require some more sensitive reflection to the category of relationship.
