The exploration of faith connected with the presence of Jesus in the form of Bread and Wine, who comes during the Eucharist celebrated by the priest after saying the essential words of consecration, takes place on many levels and in various ways. We can definitely say that, executing the idea of holding Eucharistic Congresses admittedly fits into this task. The Eucharistic Congresses, that dates back to XIX c., were and are organized by the universal Church as well as local Church, hence they have an international, national and diocesan scope. Each of them consists of important elements, among others celebrating Holy Mass with adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, scientific symposia, congress stations in various churches, formation meetings for various religious groups as well as solemn theophoric processions. And all this in order to strengthen the piety and the Eucharistic spirituality leading to living in Communion with Jesus as often as possible, receiving him in Holy Communion into your heart, implementing the words of the Savior: “But whoever eats of my body and drinks of my blood has eternal life”.
