Wizyta studyjna w Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. 26-29 maja 2010 rokuGorbaniuk, Julia; Jęczeń, Jarosław; Chuchra, Maria (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Pozycja Korzystanie z pornografii internetowej przez uczennice szkół średnich w kontekście czynników rodzinnych. Rozpowszechnienie pornografii internetowej wśród młodzieżyPawłowska, Beata; Potembska, Emilia (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)The aim of the present investigations was to answer the questions of (a) whether and in the sphere of what family factors there are differences between secondary school girls using and not using Internet pornography and (b) whether and what kind of relations obtain between the dimensions of Internet addiction and family factors in a group of girls using Internet pornography. Material: The participants were 186 secondary school girls aged 16-19 years. Methods: The study was conducted using Young’s Internet Addiction Test (IAT) for assessing the severity of Internet addiction, and the following instruments by Pawłowska and Potembska: the Internet Addiction Assessment Questionnaire, the Disturbed Family Relations Questionnaire, and a Personal Inquiry Form. The Internet Addiction Assessment Questionnaire consisted of five scales, I. Acceptance, II. Games-Need for Aggression and Power, III. Computer Addiction, IV. Internet Addiction, and V. Pornography. The Disturbed Family Relations Questionnaire was made up of scales for I. Violence, II. Overprotectiveness, III. Coalition with the Mother, IV. Lack of Acceptance-Rejection, and V. Indifference. Results and conclusions: On the basis of the obtained results, the following conclusions were formulated: 1. The girls who used Internet pornography, more often than the girls who did not use it, had experienced violence and rejection in the family, and had taken over the role of guardians in their relationships with their mothers. 2. Increased symptoms of addiction to the Internet, aggressive computer games, and Internet pornography, as well as the search for acceptance and understanding from people contacted online co-occured with violence, rejection, and indifference experienced in the family, assumption by the child of the role of guardian and protector of the mother, and fear of adulthood.Pozycja Diagnoza gotowości dzieci z rodzin migracyjnych do komunikacji z innymi w świetle badań rysunkiem „moja rodzina”Gorbaniuk, Julia (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)The subject of the research presented in the article is the migrant family, defined in the subject literature as a “temporarily incomplete” family, that is characterized by structural disorganization. The study included 77 children in a long-term separation with one or both parents. The control consisted of 64 children brought up in families, in which there was no separation. Children were selected for this group intentionally, on the basis of demographic variables: age, sex and the place where the child was living. The projective drawing with instruction “My family” was used as the research tool. Statistical analysis and interpretation of the obtained results of the research compared the two groups of children as far as their readiness to communicate with their closest environment, indices of good and poor communica tion presented in the drawing, loneliness of the child in the picture and relations with the parent separated with the child for labor reasons and the one taking care of him were concerned. The obtained results show the occurrence of significant disturbances in the sphere of communication with the closest ones in the children from the families separated because of the labor migration as compared to the children in the control group.Pozycja Znaczenie religii w życiu rodziny z osobą niepełnosprawnąJanocha, Witold (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Faith in God plays an extraordinarily significant role in the life of handicapped persons and of their guardians. Most respondents treat faith as a support and a source of strength for resolving problems posed by everyday life. The more difficult the living situation caused by the level of the disability, the deeper the trust in God and giving oneself up to Him is. Every third subject of the study indicated that without faith he/she cannot imagine his/her life, and nearly every fifth respondent is convinced that owing to faith the miracle of healing and return to a complete ability may happen. The Holy Mass is a profound religious experience for most of the respondents, giving them consolidation in their difficult living situation. Only few treat the Holy Mass as a habit, a custom, or a thing that is necessary because of the pressure from the people around them. Also the fact that persons with a considerable disability declare experiencing the Holy Mass more profoundly than those whose physical status is decidedly better is an important observation.Pozycja Stanisław Kowalczyk, Ciało człowieka w refleksji filozoficznej, Lublin: Wydawnictwo KUL 2009, ss. 206.Jasiński, Karol (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Pozycja Rodzina w sieci internetowej. Szanse, wyzwania, zagrożeniaTrawiński, Adam (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Family is a basic social group in which a human being lives and functions. As any other group existing in society, family is susceptible to the influence of media including the Internet. In the era of widespread informatisation of society, one can often observe an increase of family life’s co-existence in the virtual reality. Family cannot stay indifferent towards the constantly developing Internet or virtual space created by it. The family existing and functioning in the World Wide Web receives significant opportunities resulting from staying in that reality. However, there are also numerous threats constituting hazards and serious difficulties in the functioning of the family in that net. Together with the opportunities and the threats, there are certain challenges to family is able to exist and function on purely family-oriented values such as love, honesty and trust.Pozycja Małgorzata Sikorska, Nowa matka, nowy ojciec, nowe dziecko o nowym układzie sił w polskich rodzinach, Warszawa: Wydawnictwa Akademickie i Profesjonalne 2009, ss. 344.Wyżlic, Małgorzata (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Pozycja Sprawozdanie z VIII Zjazdu Gnieźnieńskiego „Rodzina nadzieją Europy” (Family – the Hope for Europe). In the modern world marital infertility is one of the ever more common problems affecting married couples. On the other hand, ever more often we encounter situations, in which parents, especially single mothers, do not want to raise their children. The meeting of the needs of people in both these situations makes the so-called unwanted or rejected children get a chance to find parental love and a family home by means of adoption. The article tackles the issue of adoption present in the teaching of the Magisterium of the Church. It indicates that accepting a born child to the family through adoption is a requirement of the spouses’ fertile love, but also a Christian fulfillment of the commandment of love, the service to life and a way to preach the “Gospel of life” by means of acts of love given to the most needy child. Adoption is not an easy thing, an event that happens once, but it amounts to saying “yes” to love; it is accepting a certain way of life, in which serving another man and Christ present in the “least” man is the first and supreme aim of adoptive parents’ life. It is also worth stressing that the necessity to shape and create mentality serves a man not as something exceptional, but exactly as the style of life of Christian spouses.Pozycja Kelli Fuery, New Media. Culture and Image, New York: Palgrave Macmillan 2009, ss. 173.Jęczeń, Jarosław (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Pozycja Dylematy moralne komunikacji w kontekście pediatrycznej opieki paliatywnej w świetle badań rodziców i personelu medycznegoWieczorek, Włodzimierz (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)The aim of the article is to describe the moral obligation connected with the rule of the truth telling in the context of the pediatric palliative care. The practical aim is to answer the question about proper attitude of the family and the medical staff toward a dying child. The answers take into account the right of the child to the truth about his or her physical state. The theoretical reflections are confronted with the empirical survey among the physicians and the parents. The answers for the six questions of the questionnaire illustrate the practice of the doctors who deal with the sick children and their families and compare the practice with the opinions of the parents.Pozycja Badania postaw Polaków wobec moralności małżeńsko-rodzinnejDudziak, Urszula (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Marital and parental love, as significant values both for particular individuals and for the whole society, require special protection. It is ensured by moral norms, and especially by: premarital chastity, marital fidelity, indissolubility of marriage, and parental responsibility connected with opposition to abortion and contraception. In numerous studies devoted to the attitudes towards marital-familial morality it turns out, however, that a considerable part of the respondents do not accept these norms. This is significant information for pastoral theologians, educationalists, family life counselors and pastors, because the efficiency of the efforts they make requires a diagnosis of the reality they encounter. And the diagnosis, as appears from the empirical research, should incline one not only to make careful educational, but also prophylactic, preventive and re-educational efforts.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z Konferencji Międzynarodowej pt. „Kościół – Rodzina – Życie” zorganizowanej przez Instytut Studiów nad Rodziną UKSW. Purchasing, using and consuming ever more clearly become an integral part of a new global culture called consumer culture. In forming behaviors and the hierarchy of values in an adult man his closest environment, and especially his family and his acquaintances, play a significant role. Hence pathogenic factors that are the cause of occurrence of various kinds of disturbances should be searched for also in the family and social systems. Analysis of the possible causes of occurrence of unplanned shopping in the family and social environment supplies many hypotheses that should be verified in an empirical way.Pozycja Wychowawcze aspekty rodzicielstwa jako realizacji Bożego powołaniaStala, Józef (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Pozycja Osoba, moralność, mass mediaJęczeń, Jarosław (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)A person and morality are inseparable because all human activity has its axiological aspect. Similarly, all human activity, both verbal and non-verbal is the way to communicate with other people or with the external world. It applies to direct person to person communication and also to mass media communication. Besides the above, each activity has its aim and means to attain the aim. The article analyses the question of what relations bind a person, morality and mass media, as indicated in the title. To what extent they are in line with Immanuel Kant’s personal norm: “may a human never be the means of your actions, but the aim” or with Karol Wojtyła’s personal norm, which is a specific postulate of human affirmation for the sake of humans themselves: a person can never be the means to attain the aim, because this would violate the person’s dignity. The idea of the personal norm and Wojtyła’s personal anthropology with the perspective of “a person and person’s deed” allow us to present these relations in the article.Pozycja Hierarchiczność we wspólnocie rodzinnej – historyczny rozwój myśliWyżlic, Małgorzata (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)The contemporary multitude of options in the way of leading marital life, the new patterns of marital relations that appear, may incline one to ask the question about what is the current line-up in a Christian marriage. Over the centuries the answer to this question was given in various ways. What distinguishes the Catholic concept of marriage is the conviction that the marital relation should be interpreted through the mystery of the bond between Christ and the Church.
