Pozycja Rodzina w sieci internetowej. Szanse, wyzwania, zagrożeniaTrawiński, Adam (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Family is a basic social group in which a human being lives and functions. As any other group existing in society, family is susceptible to the influence of media including the Internet. In the era of widespread informatisation of society, one can often observe an increase of family life’s co-existence in the virtual reality. Family cannot stay indifferent towards the constantly developing Internet or virtual space created by it. The family existing and functioning in the World Wide Web receives significant opportunities resulting from staying in that reality. However, there are also numerous threats constituting hazards and serious difficulties in the functioning of the family in that net. Together with the opportunities and the threats, there are certain challenges to family is able to exist and function on purely family-oriented values such as love, honesty and trust.Pozycja Rodzinne i środowiskowe uwarunkowania zakupów nieplanowanychZawadzki, Rafał (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)We are living in times that researchers call the times of consumerism. Purchasing, using and consuming ever more clearly become an integral part of a new global culture called consumer culture. In forming behaviors and the hierarchy of values in an adult man his closest environment, and especially his family and his acquaintances, play a significant role. Hence pathogenic factors that are the cause of occurrence of various kinds of disturbances should be searched for also in the family and social systems. Analysis of the possible causes of occurrence of unplanned shopping in the family and social environment supplies many hypotheses that should be verified in an empirical way.Pozycja Małgorzata Sikorska, Nowa matka, nowy ojciec, nowe dziecko o nowym układzie sił w polskich rodzinach, Warszawa: Wydawnictwa Akademickie i Profesjonalne 2009, ss. 344.Wyżlic, Małgorzata (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Pozycja Hierarchiczność we wspólnocie rodzinnej – historyczny rozwój myśliWyżlic, Małgorzata (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)The contemporary multitude of options in the way of leading marital life, the new patterns of marital relations that appear, may incline one to ask the question about what is the current line-up in a Christian marriage. Over the centuries the answer to this question was given in various ways. What distinguishes the Catholic concept of marriage is the conviction that the marital relation should be interpreted through the mystery of the bond between Christ and the Church.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z II Międzynarodowej Konferencji naukowo-szkoleniowej „Zdrowa szkoła – zdrowy uczeń ”. A family with many children should not be identified with a problem family. Dysfunctions of the family system may concern any family, irrespective of the number of children in it. Adaptation troubles of persons coming from families with many children first of all result from: the stereotype of a family with many children functioning in the society; the material poverty of the family triggering other forms of cognitive, social, cultural poverty; and deficits in the parents’ psycho-social and educational competences. In Poland various initiatives are launched that are directed to families with many children. Undoubtedly such enterprises favor development not only of the very families, but of the whole society as well. However, there are a lot of deficits in the policies directed to the family, especially one with many children. The deficits are observed mainly on the following levels: the macro-social one – a deficit of institutional support for families, especially ones with many children; this type of support requires a change in the binding law regulations and directives resolving social policies towards families, including ones with many children; the micro-social level, where there is a need to support families by means of various systems of social care (natural and specialist ones); this type of aid requires reliable knowledge about problem families areas (about the need for support) and qualified staff giving the care.Pozycja Praca socjalna – nowy kierunek studiów Instytutu Nauk o Rodzinie KULJęczeń, Jarosław (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Pozycja Osoba, moralność, mass mediaJęczeń, Jarosław (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)A person and morality are inseparable because all human activity has its axiological aspect. Similarly, all human activity, both verbal and non-verbal is the way to communicate with other people or with the external world. It applies to direct person to person communication and also to mass media communication. Besides the above, each activity has its aim and means to attain the aim. The article analyses the question of what relations bind a person, morality and mass media, as indicated in the title. To what extent they are in line with Immanuel Kant’s personal norm: “may a human never be the means of your actions, but the aim” or with Karol Wojtyła’s personal norm, which is a specific postulate of human affirmation for the sake of humans themselves: a person can never be the means to attain the aim, because this would violate the person’s dignity. The idea of the personal norm and Wojtyła’s personal anthropology with the perspective of “a person and person’s deed” allow us to present these relations in the article.Pozycja Kelli Fuery, New Media. It is ensured by moral norms, and especially by: premarital chastity, marital fidelity, indissolubility of marriage, and parental responsibility connected with opposition to abortion and contraception. In numerous studies devoted to the attitudes towards marital-familial morality it turns out, however, that a considerable part of the respondents do not accept these norms. This is significant information for pastoral theologians, educationalists, family life counselors and pastors, because the efficiency of the efforts they make requires a diagnosis of the reality they encounter. And the diagnosis, as appears from the empirical research, should incline one not only to make careful educational, but also prophylactic, preventive and re-educational efforts.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z sympozjum „Kapłan na miarę Boga i człowieka”. Łomża, 24 kwietnia 2010 rokuBrzeziński, Mirosław (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Pozycja Nauczanie Magisterium Kościoła o adopcjiBrzeziński, Mirosław (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)The vocation to parenthood is one of the basic tasks of the spouses. In the modern world marital infertility is one of the ever more common problems affecting married couples. On the other hand, ever more often we encounter situations, in which parents, especially single mothers, do not want to raise their children. The meeting of the needs of people in both these situations makes the so-called unwanted or rejected children get a chance to find parental love and a family home by means of adoption. The article tackles the issue of adoption present in the teaching of the Magisterium of the Church. It indicates that accepting a born child to the family through adoption is a requirement of the spouses’ fertile love, but also a Christian fulfillment of the commandment of love, the service to life and a way to preach the “Gospel of life” by means of acts of love given to the most needy child. Adoption is not an easy thing, an event that happens once, but it amounts to saying “yes” to love; it is accepting a certain way of life, in which serving another man and Christ present in the “least” man is the first and supreme aim of adoptive parents’ life. It is also worth stressing that the necessity to shape and create mentality serves a man not as something exceptional, but exactly as the style of life of Christian spouses.Pozycja Pozycja Rola edukacji seksualnej i profilaktyki zdrowotnej w kontekście zachorowań na raka szyjki macicy i AIDS w wymiarze rodzinnym i społecznym z uwzględnieniem elementów nauki KościołaPastwa, Rafał (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Sexual education takes a very important part in human development. The integral dimension of sexuality should be constantly presented from its positive side. Nobody must be persuaded to realize the necessity of medical and biological education of young people and adults as it is simply a necessity nowadays. Prophylaxis concerning HPV and HIV is indispensable. However, next to medical attitudes ethical and moral factors must be taken into consideration. Education itself will not be enough without a firm model of living created by societies and families. Some Catholic theologians state that as far as human sexuality and sexual ethics is concerned, a kind of ecological sphere of sexuality exists. According to Prof. Włodzimierz Fijałkowski, ecology stands on guards of living in harmony with nature. Any prophylactic campaign cannot be carried on in an intimidating tone. Women must be informed about the importance and necessity of prophylactic examinations against cancer and of vaccines.Pozycja Międzyobrządkowe małżeństwa mieszane na pograniczu polsko-ruskim w Galicji w świetle prawa kanonicznegoOsadczy, Włodzimierz (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Many centuries of co-habitation of Poles and Ruthenians in common areas of the borderland created an exceptional denominational situation. Both nations were often joined within one family. Problems caused by the meeting of Greek Catholic and Latin traditions should have been regulated by special Church documents of a local character, as well as by ones promulgated by the Holy See.Pozycja Wpływ relacji rodzinnych na przebieg cukrzycy u dzieci i młodzieżyMakara-Studzińska, Marta; Partyka, Iwona (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Type 1 diabetes mellitus in children and adolescents is a question of medical and psychological field. It is relevant to treat and maintain proper glicemic control from the very beginning of the disease. This may prevent from early development of diabetic-related complications. Family functioning is of a high importance in the course of chld’s diabetes care. Cooperation between parents, medical service and teachers is needed to protect children from emotional problems and early complications. The role of the family seems to be irreplaceable.Pozycja Prawa dziecka a problem głodu w zglobalizowanym świecieKoperek, Jerzy; Koperek, Adam (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)Children’s rights, like women’s rights, should be treated as human rights. The basic right of the child, together with the right to life, is the right to food and freedom from hunger. However, it appears that securing the children’s rights is one of the important global issues in the contemporary world. Statistics report alarming information about starving children, among whom 15 million human beings die from hunger every year. The issue is undoubtedly important in the context of broad global problems facing the world today. At the same time it reflects the need to protect human rights, starting from the most vulnerable human beings, namely children deprived of the possibility to live and develop. The present study considers these matters in the context of the following issues: 1. Children’s rights protection in the international documents; 2. Children’s hunger as a global problem; 3. Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in the struggle against hunger and malnutrition among children; 4. Social justice and solidarity as the basis for anti-hunger campaign in the world.
