Pozycja Kształtowanie się środowisk wychowawczych dzieci i młodzieży na przestrzeni dziejów, red. B. Moraczewska, P. Krzywicki, Wyższa Szkoła Zawodowa we Włocławku, Włocławek 2014, ss. 212.Sakowicz, Eugeniusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Pozycja „Notes…” ks. Teodora Wieczorka SDB (1888-1957) – (Cz. I). Autor i tekstSzlufik, Piotr (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Many saints have left behind journals of the soul, autobiographiesor spiritual notes. The authors of this kind of writings can also be found among the Salesian Family, e.g.: blessed. Rev. B. Markiewicz, blessed A. da Costa, blessed Rev. J. Kowalski, blessed A. Marvelli and Rev. S. Mannucci. The Notebook…, authored by a Salesian missionary in China, Rev. Wieczorek, is an interesting example of such spiritual writings. This article is the first part of the study of the manuscript. It undertakes two topics: presentation of the author’s biography (family environment, stages of formation) and presentation of the text (physical description, authorship, chronology, purpose and method of record keeping, internal structure, the history of the manuscript, subsequent editions and commentaries).Pozycja Cipriano Vagaggini et Salvatore Marsili au siecle des grands liturgistes entre le IIe et le IIIe millenaireSodi, Manlio (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)The turn of the second and the third millennium was an invaluable period to serve for an evaluation of the life and vitality of the liturgy. It is, therefore, important to remember those people who made a significant contribution to the enactment of the Second Vatican Council and subsequent development of the liturgical renewal movement within the Church. Hence, the idea to present the thought and works of Cyprian Vagaggini and Salvatore Marsili, two Benedictine monks who played a crucial role in the restoration of the liturgy to people, and in making it more understandable. The remembrance of their work is a call for increased efforts, now and in the future, in accordance with those perspectives which contribute to the development of liturgical theology.Pozycja Salezjańskie misteria Męki Pańskiej – trzy współczesne sposoby scenicznej realizacji wydarzeń paschalnychLach, Mariusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Passion Plays staged in Poland have a long history dating back to the Middle Ages. Dramatic presentations depicting Jesus Christ’s suffering and death have been subsequently undertaken over the ages. Polish Salesians, working in the field of education and evangelism, especially among young people, have also repeatedly directed paschal events with the help of Polish youth and for them. The three contemporary, but very different presentations of the mysteries of the death and resurrection of Christ, prepared by three different Salesian environments, in Czerwińsk, Krakow and Poznan, indicate a continuous need of updating this topic. Realized with the use of various modern theatrical forms and means under the supervision of professionals in theatre arts, they still attract a wide audience.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z działalności Wyższego Seminarium Duchownego Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego w Lądzie nad Wartą w roku seminaryjnym 2013/2014Kościelny, Tomasz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Pozycja Sprawozdanie z działalności Wyższego Seminarium Duchownego Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego w Krakowie w roku seminaryjnym 2013/2014 (sprawozdanie wygłoszone w Krakowie 01.10.2014)Kozłowski, Dariusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Pozycja Kontakty prof. Oskara Haleckiego z kard. Augustem Hlondem SDB Prymasem PolskiWąsowicz, Jarosław (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Professor Oskar Halecki is one of the best-known and respected Polish historians both in the country and abroad. During the interwar period he was one of the leading activists of Catholic organizations such as Catholic Academic Youth Association “Odrodzenie” (Revival), Catholic Writers Association, Association of Polish Catholic Intelligentsia,“Pax Romana”. This article presents the relations between professor Halecki and Cardinal August Hlond who at that time was the Primate of Poland. It was based on a questionnaire completed by Oskar Halecki in 1968 during the preparation for the beatification process of Primate Hlond. At present, this documentation can be found in the “Acta Hlondiana”, a collection prepared by Rev. Stanisław Kosiński SDB.Pozycja VIII Kongres Maryjny „Maryja wychowawczynią” (Rumia, 1 maja 2014)Szlufik, Piotr (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Pozycja Towarzystwo Salezjańskie wobec wyzwań edukacyjnych w latach 1918-1939Niewęgłowski, Jan (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)After regaining its independence in 1918, Poland commenced a long-lasting reconstruction of the state structures. The legacy of three partitions significantly hindered this process. The Salesian Company, together with the whole society, participated in the creation of schools and protective structures. Until 1918, the Salesians could only realize their charisma within the territory annexed by Austria. One of the first activities of the Company after 1918 was opening secondary schools. This was done at the request of the authorities and the Polish society. A majority of those schools were created in the twenties. Some struggled with many problems, such as lack of properly qualified personnel or financial difficulties. Despite many problems, the schools enjoyed rather a good reputation in the Polish society and facilitated acquiring the secondary education for a large number of Polish youth.Pozycja Komunia Święta i jej wspólnototwórczy wymiar w życiu KościołaMożejko, Jacek (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Over the centuries, the issue of Holy Communion under both species has given rise to serious disputes. At the Vatican II Council, it was recognized as one of the most important elements leading the faithful to Christ. It is due to rich significance that this sacramental sign is endowed with. Holy Communion under both species allows the participants of the liturgy to take part in the Eucharist in a more perfect way. Consumption of the Body and Blood of Christ is a condition for the development of true inner life. Holy Communion reveals our profound union with Christ, who made a covenant in His own blood. Introduction of Holy Communion under both kinds facilitates a fuller participation in the liturgy of the Eucharist as it makes it easier for the faithful to experience the presence of Christ in the sacramental sign. Holy Communion taken under one form allows us to receive the whole fruit of the Eucharist, but receiving both the Body and Blood of Christ enriches and presents in the more perfect light the sign of the Eucharistic feast.Pozycja Bogdan Stańkowski, Zacznijmy od człowieka. L’influsso di alcuni santi nella vita spirituale e apostolica del fondatore dei salesiani, Libreria Editrice Vaticana, Roma 2013, ss. 197.Szlufik, Piotr (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Pozycja Il substrato “mistico” della spiritualita attiva di Don BoscoGiraudo, Aldo (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Don Bosco has been classified as a modern saint, a model for a new type of priest-educator. His mission had an entirely social character, because he was a practical man, attentive to the needs of everyday life. Yet, his prodigious activity was coming out of the love of God, burning in him, and it was an effusion of spiritual light that he derived from God’s presence in his soul. That is why, Don Bosco never considered any activity as a threat to spiritual life: when one answers the call of the Lord with a total sacrifice of himself, everyday work becomes a prayer. Don Bosco’s industriousness originated in his perception of human history through the prism of the faith, in deep understanding of the mystery of the Redemption and in full awareness of the mission entrusted by God to priests. This perspective allowed him to maintain a balance between tireless apostolic activity and inner concentration. The love of God fuelled his pastoral zeal and gave him this particular gift of spiritual wisdom, that allowed him to educate the youth towards the life of grace and charity. He was able to inspire a desire for sanctity in the youth, to bring them into communion with the love of God and towards a high level of virtuous perfection. The mystic tension underlying his spirituality did not alienate him from the challenges of everyday life or relations with other people. Inspired by St. Francis de Sales, Don Bosco insisted on accurate and willing fulfillment of one’s duties according to one’s social role, on asceticism revealing itself in joyful adaptation to the reality of everyday life and on the understanding of the importance of the apostolate among one’s peers. At the same time, he taught the young a prayer of “simple union” and obedience to divine inspirations, showing them how to translate these into a life of virtue and good works.Pozycja Treść zapisów w notatniku obozowym kl. Wiktora Jacewicza odzwierciedleniem elementów życia obozowego w KL DachauBrakowski, Jacek (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)The history of the martyrdom of the Polish Roman Catholic clergy is still being researched. The present article refers to the content of one of the sources presenting the life in KL Dachau, where the largest number of clergy were imprisoned during the whole World War II. The source is a personal notebook authored by a member of the Society of St Francis de Sales, a seminarist Wiktor Jacewicz. He managed to survive a period of five years in Dachau. In his notes, we can find a description of different elements from the daily life of the concentration camp in Dachau such as prayer, sacraments, work, study, correspondence and sports. The source is a valuable contribution to our knowledge about the reality of life in KL Dachau.Pozycja Opiekuńczo-wychowawcza działalność środowiskowych ognisk wychowawczych Towarzystwa Przyjaciół Dzieci jako czynnik wspomagający wychowanie dziecka w rodzinie własnejGątarek, Izabela (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Recognition of the sources and effects of social orphanhood implies a number of issues aimed at assessing the scale of this phenomenon. This knowledge is a prerequisite for the initiation and designing of support actions for families at different levels of dysfunctionality. The goal of conducted research was to verify the thesis that implementation of preventive methods of family support adapted to its specific problems and needs, forestalls separation of children and their families. The object of the research was to analyse to what extend environmental TPD centres realize the statutory assumptions regarding child and family care.Pozycja Pytania o tożsamość nauczyciela-wychowawcy w świetle badań młodzieży. Czy młodzież dzisiaj potrzebuje raczej trenera kompetencji, czy mistrza?Mejer, Michał (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)The research made on the situation of today’s youth in Poland reveals a certain discrepancy. On the one hand, the youth are independent, entrepreneurial, they learn fast and quickly gain autonomy. On the other hand, however, they are often affected by emotional problems, aggression and immaturity. What, therefore, should the teacher be like? A classically understood master or one conforming to the five categories formulated by prof. Ferenz? Mass school can hardly take into consideration a student’s individual biography or respect his autonomy. The teacher, therefore, in addition to excellent communication skills, should possess the art of establishing interpersonal relationships with students. In this context, it is interesting to look at the idea of integral education of Herbert Franta.Pozycja Pocysterskie opactwo w Lądzie jako centrum kultury. Analiza przygotowywanej oferty kulturalnejSadowski, Ryszard F.; Skowroński, Bartłomiej (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)This article is the third one in the series entitled “The Post-Cistercian Abbey in Ląd as a Cultural Centre”. The first two papers were published in Seminare, No. 3 and 4, 2014. The present article provides an evaluation of the research concerning tourists’ opinions on the attractiveness of the currently prepared cultural offer, its influence on the number of tourists, influence of specific factors on the reception the new offer and the attractiveness of the offer’s particular categories.Pozycja Tematyka prac dyplomowych lądzkich absolwentów pedagogiki UKSW w latach 2012 i 2013Zdzieborski, Jacek (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Pozycja Historia Mszału Rodziny SalezjańskiejBłaszczyk, Radosław (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)The present research paper discusses the origins of the Salesian Family Missal. It begins with an outline of its etiology highlighting the causes of the Missal’s origin. Next, the author presents the stages of its development beginning with the first and the second Salesian Family Missals, until its edition in Polish. Each of these missals was discussed in detail and characterized with regard to the contemporary calendar of the Salesian Family.Pozycja Don Bosco and the Conditions of Pre-Industrial Youth in His TimesBoenzi, Joseph (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)The year 2015 marks the bicentenary of the birth of Saint John Bosco, whom Pope John Paul II designated as the father and teacher of youth. As members of the Salesian Family worldwide commemorate this event, they do so with the intention of starting afresh in the spirit of this saint to promote and foster the education of young people in our times – especially the poorest and most in need. But who are the young people that Don Bosco would most try to educate today? What was the situation of adolescents and young adults in his lifetime? – those the he actually encountered? This paper attempts to survey the social, political, cultural and religious context of the young of Don Bosco’s city of Turin in the middle nineteenth century. My hope is to present reflections that can help us to reflect or study or even share in groups on Don Bosco’s young people and our own. For, according to Don Bosco, the young are that portion of human society that is the most delicate and the most precious, on which so many hopes for a happy future are placed.
