Pozycja La prassi liturgica nel “Liber Sacerdotalis” di Alberto Castellani (1523)Sodi, Manlio (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)A study concerning the history of the sacrament of penance and its pastoral practice is always an interesting issue. This kind of knowledge can be useful to understand the very sacrament and, especially, the way of its celebration in the ecclesial community along the centuries both from the point of view of the pastors and the faithful. The rereading of the liturgical practice presented in Castellani’s Liber Sacerdotalis, constitutes an interesting and useful contribution to better understanding of how the celebration of penance was performed in the days immediately preceding the Council of Trent. It also helps to verify the content and form of the celebration which appeared in the rituals after the Council. The article shows the context of the penance in the light of Missale (first edition in 1474) and at the background of the great rituals typical of the entire sixteenth century. Access to the original text allows us to grasp numerous details that appear in the 26 chapters of the whole work. Browsing the pages of Sacerdotale is like immersing in the ecclesiastical practice that is permeated by the canonical care for the integrity of confession.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z działalności Towarzystwa Naukowego Franciszka Salezego w roku 2014Sadowski, Ryszard (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Pozycja Obraz Matki Boskiej Częstochowskiej w Umieniu – nieznane dzieło z kręgu Franciszka ŚmiadeckiegoNowiński, Janusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)The Parish Church of St Michael the Archangel in Umień (formerly Umienie, Koło district) possesses one of the early copies of the image of Our Lady of Częstochowa (Figs 1,2). The oil painting on canvas features the Blessed Virgin Mary and Jesus in gem-embossed gowns, the Virgin is wearing a jewelled crown. The iconography as well as the work’s stylistic features allow to associate it with a set of numerous copies of the painting of Our Lady of Częstochowa created in the workshop of a Cracow painter, Franciszek Śmiadecki (Figs. 3,4), active in 1596-1615. The first parish church in Umień was built in the 14th c. The current, wooden structure was raised in the 1st half of the 17th c. (Figs 5,6,7) by the contemporary heir of Umień, Wacław Kiełczewski, a courtier of King Sigismund III Vasa. Kiełczewski was also the founder of the Mannerist altar and the painting of Our Lady of Częstochowa in the side chapel of the church. After the 1755 fire, the surviving painting was placed in the new high altar, where it remains to this day (Fig. 2).Pozycja Salvation from Below. Individuals and Grassroots Movements for Ecological RenewalKureethadam, Joshtrom Isaac (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)The author argues that the lack of success in responding to the contemporary ecological crisis – the greatest of humanity’s challenges today – has to do mostly with a top-down approach, as evident in international climate change negotiations. It appears that we have left the responsibility of dealing with the crisis mostly to politicians, technocrats, geo-engineers, and the lot. We have expected salvation to come from above. However, any solution to the ecological crisis will probably come from below, from committed individuals and grassroots mass movements, who can make an indispensable contribution in the restoration of our common home. The paper offers examples of some charismatic individuals and movements who have substantially contributed to addressing the challenge of the ecological crisis in our day. The article concludes with a reflection on the importance of motivating groups and individuals to care for our common home.Pozycja Rozwiązanie umowy o pracę bez wypowiedzenia z winy pracownika w świetle orzecznictwa Sądu Najwyższego – część IMajchrzak, Katarzyna (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Termination of employment contract without notice, due to the employee’s fault pursuant to the provision of Art. 52 of the Labour Code is possible in three enumerated instances. The most common reasons for termination of employment without notice include severe violation of basic employee duties caused by employee’s intoxication, failure or refusal to follow official instructions as well as disorderly conduct in the workplace. This article discusses in an extensive way the jurisprudence of the Supreme Court in this regard.Pozycja Prawo do życia. Bez kompromisu – wywiad rzeka z prof. Bogdanem Chazanem, rozmawia Maciej Müller, Wydawnictwo WAM, Kraków 2014, ss. 166.Kmieciak, Błażej (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Pozycja Uwarunkowania społeczne i socjalne życia rodziny oraz ich wpływ na wychowanieWoś, Marek (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Problems of the family, which is the basic social unit, are a priority for sociology. It is in the family that an individual learns the first patterns of interactions to transfer them later on to his interactions with other people. Sociological research on family issues, so rich and diverse, can be divided into different thematic groups. The essence of the family is a mutual relationship between the spouses and, as a result, between parents and their children. Nowadays, it seems that the family as a social institution is affected by an internal crisis. Therefore, all actions, including scientific study, that could improve its well-being should be recommended as much as possible.Pozycja Ekologiczny wymiar dobra wspólnego w świetle encyklik społecznych papieży posoborowychZagończyk, Dorota (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)During the last thirty years ecological challenges have become a vital problem. They were mentioned as an important issue in the social encyclicals of the Popes of the period (John Paul II, Benedict XVI). The popes pointed out the need for a redefinition of the concept of common good, which was understood as a set of conditions conducive to comprehensive development of man and society. The common good is a universal value including all the good and concerning every human being. The common good can be achieved in the conditions of peace and in such living conditions which do not outrage human dignity. The environmental dimension of the common good is understood as life, natural environment and ecological ideas. The highest value is life, thanks to which everyone can fulfill his vocation to the full development only by realizing the common good.Pozycja Czym jest, a czym nie jest psychologia pozytywna? Poszukiwanie paradygmatuKwiatek, Piotr; Wilczewska, Katarzyna (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)This article identifies relevant criteria indicating the identity of positive psychology founded in the late 1990s in the USA. Since a variety of interpretations often makes it difficult to understand the character and mission of positive psychology, it is important to consider the founders, the elements shaping positive psychology, as well as its internal processes of change. While it is open to interdisciplinary cooperation, positive psychology maintains its specific profile, objectives, and methods. It has its own paradigm indicating what can be considered to be positive psychology, and where its limits can be found.Pozycja „Rozwój charyzmatu ks. Bosko do poł. XX wieku”. Międzynarodowy kongres historii salezjańskiej (Rzym, 19-23 listopada 2014)Szlufik, Piotr (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Pozycja Marcin Tadeusz Łukaszewski, Przewodnik po muzyce fortepianowej, Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne, Kraków 2014, ss. 1168.Dudkiewicz, Emilia (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Pozycja Komunikacja niewerbalna w misji nowej ewangelizacji. Aspekt teologicznomoralnyNiewiadomski, Krzysztof (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)The new evangelization is the most important task of today’s Catholic Church. Preaching the Gospel occurs via human communication. The research conducted by the scientists of the humanities points to the importance of body language in interpersonal communication. Likewise, the Magisterium sees its elements in the process of evangelization. This mission is also connected with theological and moral aspects. The aim of this article is to define the moral implications associated with nonverbal communication in the work of the new evangelization. In this context, one can talk about an obligation to preach the Gospel effectively, i.e. taking into account the fact that such effectiveness is influenced by the awareness of one’s own nonverbal messages and of the foundations of communication theory. An act of communication may involve the sins of neglect, isolation and aggression.Pozycja Historyczno-statystyczne aspekty kulturowego rozwoju miasta Konina w XX wiekuWesołowski, Dariusz T. (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)A dynamic industrial development always implies changes in social and cultural structure. In this text, the author analyses such changes, and his main area of exploration is the rapidly developing community of Konin city in the second half of the 20th century. The author analyses various components of these changes against the background of the city’s rich history from the historical, statistical, cultural and intellectual perspectives.Pozycja Państwowe grono konserwatorów zabytków archeologicznych i Państwowe Muzeum Archeologiczne: ich rola w ochronie zabytków archeologicznychKarczewski, Marcin (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)The State Council for Preservation of Prehistoric Monuments was the first informal group dedicated to the protection of archaeological heritage in the history of Poland. The Council operated on the basis of the act on protection of monuments issued by the Regency Council of the Kingdom of Poland on 31th October, 1918. After the legislative changes in 1928, the Council was dissolved and replaced by the State Archaeological Museum in Warsaw. The article depicts the tumultuous history of those two institutions and the system of heritage protection during the interwar period.Pozycja Sztuka retoryczna Bartłomieja Pękiela na przykładzie pierwszej części „Audite mortales”Kaczmarska, Karolina (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)The article brings up the issue of musical rhetoric in the first part of Audite mortales by Bartlomiej Pekiel. Pekiel’s musical rhetoric consists of musical rhetorical figures, numerical symbolism as well as key symbols. Dialogo Audite mortales is a proof that it is solely implication of musical rhetoric canons that constitutes a composition. The analysis and an attempt at interpretation of Bartłomiej Pękiel’s rhetorical figures, allow us to place the composer among the best European artists of the Baroque period. Beside musical rhetorical figures, Audite mortales also contains chorale extracts from the Dies Irae sequence and an antiphony for the fourth Sunday of Advent, Canite Tuba in Sion.Pozycja Come educare una figlia secondo Bernardino da SienaGłusiuk, Anna (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)In the Middle Ages men’s opinions about the women were very different: some of them perceived women as the daughters of Eva and recalled the teachings of St. Paul or Tertullian, while others saw in them the embodiment of Mary worthy of adoration. Similarly, there was no agreement with respect to education of women. According of Philip of Novara, for example, education should be prohibited to all women, while Francis of Barberino thought that girls from noble families should know how to read and write so that, in future, they could take care of their proprieties, however he denied the right of the education to the daughters of artisans and merchants. Christina da Pizan believed that all women should study and Tour De La Landry emphasized that they should at least be able to read. However, there was no precise information on the scope of education for women. Bernardino of Siena, one of the most famous preachers of the fifteenth century, saw this deficiency and in his sermons he taught, among other things, how parents should educate their daughters. Bernardins’ words were addressed both to girls and to their parents who should observe the behaviour of their daughters, giving them different chores, so that, in the future they could properly manage their husbands households. Bernardino taught the girls whom they should obey, how they should speak and what to listen, how they should dress and what kind of behaviour they should avoid in order marry well.Pozycja Egzorcyzmy chrzcielne w liturgii rzymskiejKrakowiak, Czesław (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)The author analyses and describes the prayers of baptismal exorcisms, starting from the Gelasian Sacramentary, through the following editions of the Roman Rite from 1614 to 1972. Baptismal exorcisms are supplicatory prayers for the liberation from the dominion, influence and traps of Satan. Until Vaticanum II, baptismal exorcisms consisted mainly of commanding formulas, frequently repeated, uttered directly to Satan called as maledictus diabolus, damnatus maledictus, immunde spiritus, maledictus satana, inimicus. Today, they are mainly a humble prayer directed to God the Father and to Jesus Christ for the liberation from satanic influence. During the catechumenate these are called the first or the minor exorcisms (primi, seu minores). Of more importance are those exorcisms that are made during the cleansing and enlightment periods, that is, on the 3rd, 4th and 5th Sunday of Lent, inspired by the Gospel about the Samaritan woman, about the healing of the man born blind and about the rising of Lazarus from death.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z XXVIII Sympozjum Liturgicznego (Ląd nad Wartą, 17 października 2014)Błaszczyk, Radosław (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Pozycja Zenon Grocholewski, Uniwersytety wobec współczesnych wyzwań, Szkoła Wyższa im. Bogdana Jańskiego, Warszawa 2013, ss. 400.Szlufik, Piotr (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)Pozycja Koncepcja obiektu granicznego – idea, zastosowania, perspektywyBukalska, Izabela (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)The purpose of the article is an in-depth analysis of the boundary object conception introduced by J. Griesemer and S. L. Star. An attempt to describe it according to the idea of the authors and to investigate its initial sense is necessary. The author was induced to carry out such an analysis having noticed numerous simplifications and instances of superficial treatment of the issue in manifold studies referring to this idea. The article begins with a definition of the boundary object according to the seminal text of Griesemer and Star. Secondly, it points out the areas of the conception’s application illustrated with examples. In the next step, the author focuses on the cases of inconsequence in the studies using the concept, mainly in relation to Star’s comments. A possibility of intentional creation of boundary objects is also referred to, as it was from the beginning incorporated in the authors’ intention.
