In spite of proportionally small number, it is burdened with grave consequences. Counteraction and prophylaxis are pivotal. In the work, the factors directing an adolescent to prostitution have been discussed on the basis of literature. We have isolated culturally social, family and environmental factors, i.e. proceeding from peers. Subsequently, we have presented hypothetical grounds directly leading towards juvenile prostitution.Pozycja Emocjonalna atmosfera rodziny w percepcji ukraińskiej młodzieży z rodzin emigrantów zarobkowychDurkalevych, Iryna (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2013)The article presents the results of empirical research on the emotional problems of Ukrainian adolescents being brought up in the families affected by the syndrome of separation.Pozycja Korzystanie z pornografii internetowej przez uczennice szkół średnich w kontekście czynników rodzinnych. Rozpowszechnienie pornografii internetowej wśród młodzieżyPawłowska, Beata; Potembska, Emilia (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2011)The aim of the present investigations was to answer the questions of (a) whether and in the sphere of what family factors there are differences between secondary school girls using and not using Internet pornography and (b) whether and what kind of relations obtain between the dimensions of Internet addiction and family factors in a group of girls using Internet pornography. The Disturbed Family Relations Questionnaire was made up of scales for I. Violence, II. Overprotectiveness, III. Coalition with the Mother, IV. Lack of Acceptance-Rejection, and V. Indifference. The girls who used Internet pornography, more often than the girls who did not use it, had experienced violence and rejection in the family, and had taken over the role of guardians in their relationships with their mothers. 2. Increased symptoms of addiction to the Internet, aggressive computer games, and Internet pornography, as well as the search for acceptance and understanding from people contacted online co-occured with violence, rejection, and indifference experienced in the family, assumption by the child of the role of guardian and protector of the mother, and fear of adulthood.Pozycja Szantaż emocjonalny w relacjach rówieśniczychPawelec, Marta; Łukasiewicz, Jacek (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2012)Emotional blackmail is a form of manipulation. It consists in influencing another person’s emotions and feelings, the person usually being a partner in a close relationship. This kind of blackmail is based on a threat of the blackmailer’s suffering if the partner does not behave in the way the blackmailer wishes. The basis of the manipulation is constituted by a good knowledge of the partner, his/her needs, aspirations, weaknesses and desires. The essence of the emotional blackmail syndrome is the following sequence of behaviors: the blackmailer’s demand, the victim’s resistance, the blackmailer’s pressure, the blackmailer’s threats, the victim’s compliance, and a repetition of the whole cycle. The blackmailer, in order to blur the partner’s clarity of judgment, intensifies his/her sense of obligation, guilt and fear. Many victims of emotional blackmail remain unnoticed and they suffer in secret. This may be especially difficult for children at the threshold or the start of adolescence. Here the peers’ acceptance is immensely significant and adolescents often can give a lot to gain it. In this context it is important to study the peer relationships that are burdened with emotional blackmail. The undertaken studies have a pilot character. Their aim was to explore the phenomenon of emotional blackmail in peer relationships, to make a diagnosis of its range, and of its components.Pozycja Zachowania ryzykowne młodzieży – definicje, modele teoretyczne oraz czynniki ryzykaMakara-Studzińska, Marta; Morylowska, Justyna (Towarzystwo Naukowe KUL, 2009)Adolescence is a developmental period of rapid changes, when teenagers begin to surmount challenges and learn autonomy. It is also unfortunately the period of many threats for youth. Much of the adverse health consequences experienced by adolescents are, to a large extent, the result of risk behaviors. In this article we have described adolescent health risk behaviors. We have concentrated on theories of risk behaviors contextualizing biological, psychological and environmental aspects. We have also listed risk factors for engaging in risk behavior by adolescents.
