Pozycja Ks. Stanisław Kowalczyk, Elementy społecznej nauki Kościoła, Norbertinum: Wydawnictwo – Drukarnia – Księgarnia, Lublin 2017, 274 strony (ISBN 978-83-7222-586-3).Mazur, Jan (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Zakonu Świętego Pawła Pierwszego Pustelnika, 2017)Pozycja Piękno i dobro – pryncypia i wartości w muzyceWybraniak, Ireneusz (Wyższe Seminarium Duchowne Zakonu Świętego Pawła Pierwszego Pustelnika, 2023)The aim of the article is to prove that beauty and goodness are universal and abjective values. They are more discovered than created. The unity and interdependence of beauty and goodness make that music is seen both as a mystery and a service. The paradigms taken from Jan Galarowicz’s philosophy of art is the starting point of the article. Then it refers to the thoughts and ideas of Aristotle, the Pythagoreans and other philosophers such as Immanuel Kant, Christian theologians (e. g. Saint Augustine or Thomas Aquinas) and the opinions of various past and contemporary composers and conductors. The criteria of sacrum in music and the axiological research presented in diagrams are also discussed in the article. The survey was conducted in the pastoral environment of the author’s work and selected music groups. In addition, the author refers to his doctoral thesis submitted to the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. The dissertation was from the field of conducting. Parmi les principes et valeurs communément reconnus en musique, la beauté et la bonté viennent au premier plan.
