    From time immemorial the society has had the need of mass entertainment, defined nowadays as the mass events. The example of this can be the organization of the Roman society, where, after analyzing the source materials, we can indicate some numerous examples of the mass events, religious, sports, or political ones. In the Roman legislation we can find a series legal regulations concerning the rules of organizing such events, chiefly, if it is about the public security. In each city, also in Rome, there was the calendar of mass events, which was completed all the time. The bodies responsible for organizing the mass events in Rome were the consuls and ediles, while, in municipalities the duumvirs and ediles. They had to provide the appropriate measures to organize the events and to guarantee the security. In case of the political events, organized during the election, the responsibility lay with the organizers. The security of the participants, particularly at the amphitheatres, was guaranteed through the legislative regulation of the principles of taking the seats at the audience. Breaking the rules was punished by the high fine. The security of the mass events in the Ancient Rome maybe was not so clearly defined as it is nowadays, but it was the matter of the Roman legislators and the public bodies. Hence, during the frequent sports events or the other entertainments organized at the huge buildings, as for example at Circus Maximus, which could contain even about 300,000 spectators, the construction disasters or public riots were the rareness.

    This article is devoted to issues of financial instruments, particularly hedge funds. The authors reconstruct the genesis of creation of these funds, their role and changes over the years. They describe the characteristics of hedge funds and the characteristics of the whole market of operational funds. In addition, authors describe the market of private equity / venture capital and its role in the Polish capital market. The paper describes the market of hedge funds, which role in the Polish capital market is of particular importance. The application of a strategy to secure investment in the short term, which is characterized by a high rate of return. In exchange for a fee for managing the capital entrusted, the investor is given the opportunity to maximize profits with low risk by eliminating the risk of price fluctuations. This strategy allows you to make a profit during both bull and bear market.

    Moral standards are arranged in a kind of whole which forms the scale of values. They set in order the environment, provide direction of actions and place a man in the surrounding world, which was also created by him. Selection of moral norms must be carried out according to certain principles which form a logical entirety. Only then, involving in social life becomes a foundation for creation of the unit. The person building the self-image of reality with simultaneous lack of support from their parents, state institutions, public life, spiritual or intellectual authorities, generally is unable to distinguish good things from bad things, the rules that should be followed from the rules that should be avoided. A confused young man is trying to save himself by building a "private ethics" in which his own environment easily helps him, providing a number of models of ethical individualism. However, according to immutable values only education can shape the young characters that will be able to remedy for all the signaled difficulties in distinguishing good from evil, and establishing a solid foundation that will help them build their own future.

    Godność urzędu sędziego – uwagi na tle orzecznictwa sądów dyscyplinarnych

    The main topic of disscusion is the question of the dignity of the post of judge of the common courts of law. The authoress, on the basis of the law and the jurisdiction of the disciplinary court, in that regard, sought to determine the scope of the concept of "dignity of the post of judge". She tried to answer the question, what specific requirements should meet the judge, and how he should behave, or how he should not behave, to make his duties in dignified way? The answer was constructed by identifying the normative responsibilities, basing on the Constitution of Poland, content of the oath of judges, articles 82. and 82., points ‘a’ and ‘b’ of the act of the Law of the Common Court and ‘The Rules of Professional Ethics of Judges’. Then, under the jurisdiction of the disciplinary court of the Supreme Court was compiled the list of behaviors which affront to the dignity the post of judge.

    Sport is a very widespread and universal phenomenon that it has become an essential element of everyone's life. Its value and pervasiveness has extremely great influence on youth. Practiced as the concept of the humanities and geared mainly towards the individual, not as it is sometimes only for money and fame, will shape responsibility and respect for the others. The practice of sport which is about great importance of a harmonious and full development of a human, i.e. body and soul, is addressed to all people, and also students of the Seminaries. Therefore, the more each alumnus in his formation, human, intellectual, spiritual and pastoral, aims for the priesthood cannot ignore the physical activity, as it will be a primary task to achieve personal maturity and becoming physically fitter. The love for sports by alumnus should become a building block of human solidarity in the way of friendship and goodwill in respect of each person you encounter. At the same time developing the physical prowess and becoming tougher should never distract Alumnus from the spiritual duties. Therefore, each alumnus - the athlete, in addition to the spiritual dimension of seminary formation, may then work on practice of sport, which in many ways contributes to better preparation for the priesthood.
