The first part of the article presents the synods of 15th and 16th century, before the Council of Trent, which impelemented the Gregorian Reform. The synods also participated in the synodal legislation of the archdiocese of Gniezno. In the post Trent period, the synods of the archdiocese of Lvov implemented the Tridentine Legislation. The provincial synod of 1564 was the first synod in Poland, which accepted the resolutions of the Council of Trent. Two archdiocesan synods were also organized in the 20th century. A synod of 1930 adopted regulations of the Code of Canon Law promulgated in 1917 and an archdiocesan synod of 1997 brought in the legislation of the II Vatican Council and the teachings of the Holy Father John Paul II. The provincial and archdiocesan synods in large measure contributed to the animation of religious life and the adoption of the universal law in the archdiocese of Lvov.Pozycja Elementy edukacyjne turystykiNiewęgłowski, Jan (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2007)Tourism, in a broad sense, is one of the human-related forms of activity. As well as sports phenomenon, tourism belongs to the field of recreation, which has developed on an unprecedented scale in the recent time. The above mentioned development is present worldwide, nationwide as well as in local environments. This phenomenon is more and more evident in our country. The most important reason for this is the socio-political transformation after year 1989, which lifted up visa obligations to many countries. Tourism has influence on humans. It seems to transform especially the young and broadens the culture aspects in their minds. Active touring makes them sensitive to human needs, prompts to care for their health, raises their awareness of the need for intellectual, moral and social development as well as esthetic and sacral values. Family tourism is of paramount importance for the young. The article talks over coming into being of this occurrence in the region of Gdansk, where this form of youth opposal was developed mostly in years 1988–1990. The happenings were organized by different youth organizations and independent environments. The term „king” appeares on pages of the New and the Old Testament many times. Having that in mind the author analyzes the portrait of Jesus as a king in the Gospel according to St John. He does that particularly in the description of the suffering of the Master from Nazareth. St John mentions Christ's royal title mainly in the account of Jesus being questionned by Pilate, his suffering on Golgotha as well as in the decription of events that take place after his death.
