Pozycja Przepraw się i pomóż nam! Teologia i kulturaSzymik, Jerzy (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)Pozycja Friedrich Daniel Ernst Schleiermacher, Wybrane gorzowskie kazania/Ausgewählte Landsberger Predigten, red./Hrsg. T. Kuźmicki, J. Dubiec-Stach, T. Kirchhof, Gorzów Wielkopolski 2024, ss. 237.Froniewski, Jacek (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)Pozycja Błogosławieństwo a sakramenty. Teologia błogosławieństwa. Wokół „Fiducia supplicans”Klejnowski-Różycki, Dariusz (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)The article Blessings and Sacraments. Around Fiducia supplicans discusses the theological relationship between blessings and sacraments, particularly in the context of the papal declaration Fiducia supplicans by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith. The text highlights the historical and biblical roots of blessings, tracing their significance from the Old Testament, where blessings were acts of devotion and recognition of God’s goodness, through the New Testament, where they became closely tied to Christ and the Eucharist. The author analyzes how the concept of blessings evolved in Christian antiquity, the Middle Ages, and modern times, noting the shift away from linking blessings to the Eucharist in favor of sacramentals. The Second Vatican Council made a significant contribution to renewing the theology of blessings, emphasizing their liturgical nature and the role of both clergy and laity in administering them.Pozycja Integralność Boga jako fundament duchowości współpracującej z wychowaniem integralnymGodlewski, Karol Kajetan; Chmielewski, Mateusz; Budziński, Adam (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)In the face of individualism, relativism, pluralism, and secularization, humanity and education undergo fragmentation. The answer to this is the concept of integral education, which encompasses all aspects of human existence – both temporal and transcendent. Holistic education assumes shaping the human person in the image of Christ, a social being responsible for themselves and the world around them. The cooperation of education with spirituality includes the practice of prayer and an attitude permeating daily life. Prayer as “being with the Father” leads to the attitude of “acting from the Father,” directing the entire human life toward God. The integrity of education, supported by spiritual life, is based on the unity of God, who through the action of the Holy Spirit reveals to humanity His consistent, enduring, and eternal nature.Pozycja Papiestwo w służbie wiary Kościoła. Współczesne wyzwaniaPerszon, Jan (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)The subject of the article is the contemporary papacy in the aspect of its primary task, which is to serve the faith of the Church and effectively care for its unity. Over the past centuries, the Bishop of Rome enjoyed unquestionable authority in the Catholic world as the guardian and teacher of the faith, but also full jurisdictional authority in the universal Church. After the Second Vatican Council (during its reception), the papal prerogatives began to be quite widely (though not always openly) questioned. The reception of Vatican II coincided with the cultural revolution (including the revolution of 1968) and Paul VI‛s encyclical Humanae vitae. The pontificates of John Paul II and Benedict XVI brought relative stability to Catholicism, while Francis proposed − especially by promoting synodality − a thorough reform of ecclesial life. At its core is concern for the „participation” and taking part in the entire life of the Church (including in its management) of all the faithful. This idea of „reconstructing” the Church, which is important for the Pope, is controversial. On the one hand it raises the question about the structure established by Christ, and therefore constitutive hierarchical Church (episcopate with its head, i.e. the successor of Peter), on the other hand, it gives rise to initiatives (see: the German synodal way) that seem to aim at constructing a newforms of ecclesial community. This is happening in an unprecedented context of secularization of Western societies, intentional marginalization of Christianity in public space and blurring the identity of Catholics. All this makes the papal ministry extremely difficult, and the future of Catholicism in the West is uncertain.Pozycja Adresat błogosławieństw według „Fiducia supplicans”Pawłowski, Sławomir (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)Issued on 18 December 2023 by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, the Declaration „Fiducia supplicans” on the pastoral meaning of blessings distinguishes and describes the blessings that appear on the pages of the Bible, describing them as „descending” (from God to man), „ascending” (from man to God) and „extending” (from man to man). Blessings in the life of the Church are also directed in these three „directions”, towards these three „addressees”. In the reception of the Fiducia supplicans, it is necessary to skilfully distinguish the terms used in it: marriage, union, couple. The author of the article puts forward a thesis that the double meaning of the word „marriage” in the Polish language (as a union of persons or as persons in a union) may contribute to the distancing of the faithful in Poland from this declaration. On the other hand, its approximation may be helped by using an analogy with the frequent practice of the faithful ordering Mass intentions with a request for blessing. The document Fiducia supplicans is a response to the growing desire towards and within the Church to receive blessings of an inclusive nature. For the clergy, it provides an incentive to appreciate their parenetic significance.Pozycja Papieska hermeneutyka Kościoła w Kazachstanie podczas wizyt „ad limina”Mitsinskiy, Alexey (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)The aim of the article is to present the papal hermeneutics of the Church in Kazakhstan during the ad limina visits. The author seeks an answer to the question of what vision of the Church Popes John Paul II and Benedict XVI invited the participants of the visits to, how the popes saw the Church in Kazakhstan and what conclusions result from this for the current church community. These statements are addressed to all pastors of the Church of Central Asia, but they take into account in a special way the historical and political situation of the Church in Kazakhstan. This is important, because Kazakhstan and the changes that have taken place in this country have had a great influence on the development of communities and the life of the Church in neighboring countries. Even though the issues raised by the popes were and still are relevant for the community in Kazakhstan, the topic of this study has not been presented in scholarly circles nor widely discussed in Kazakhstan itself.Pozycja Defektów interpretacyjnych jednak brak? Próba obrony własnego stanowiska w obliczu jego zakwestionowania w pracy naukowej Księdza Profesora Janusza Królikowskiego. Część drugaMielnik, Dawid (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)The purpose of this study is an attempt to polemicize against an article by Father Professor Janusz Królikowski published in the scientific journal „Teologia w Polsce”. In this study, the author attempts to defend himself against the accusations made against him in the polemical article by directly addressing them. The article is divided into three parts. First, the main methodological assumptions of the study are introduced. Then a polemic against the non-merits-related arguments was undertaken, and in the third part – against the merits-related arguments. After the analyses, the author maintained his contested position.Pozycja LaudacjaKupczak, Jarosław (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)Pozycja Paszkwil Artura Sporniaka na temat teologiiKrólikowski, Janusz (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)Pozycja Aktualny stan teologii w Polsce i niektóre wyzwania (rok 2022)Królikowski, Janusz (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)Recent three decades brought significant changes in theology in Poland. It has been prompted by institutional changes, such as the establishing of new theological faculties, but also by ecclesiastical and cultural transformations which occurred after 1989. The effect of the changes is the unquestionable development of theology resulting from responding to current didactic needs as well as those related to scientific status of theology. In recent years also the reforms of higher education have demanded some changes in theology. It appears that after some years favourable for theology today there is an urgent need for further strengthening of scientific status of theology, activating its ecclesiastic significance and answering new didactic and formative challenges. One of the major tasks is elaborating of appropriate list of theological journals and securing for adequate scoring given by the ministry, since the current list leads to the diminishing of the significance of systematic theology as a science about God and salvation, and by the same token to its marginalization in reference to other humanities.Pozycja „Hoffnung im christlichen Sinn ist immer auch Hoffnung für die Anderen”. Theologische Dimensionen der Hoffnung in „Spe salvi” von Benedikt XVIGóźdź, Krzysztof (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)Pozycja Perspektywy mariologii dogmatycznejFerdek, Bogdan (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)This publication will be concerned with selected viewpoints from which Mariology could be presented. These viewpoints would be the impulses for the reinterpretation of Mariology. So, how can Mariology be reinterpreted based on the selected viewpoints relating to its practice? Quite subjectively, four points of view have been chosen from which Mariology could be presented. These four points will be: the document of the Pontifical International Marian Academy Mother of the Lord. Memory-Presence-Hope, the document of the Dombes Group, Mary in God’s Plan and in the Communion of Saints, and the Mariological achievements of the theologians Stanisław Celestyn Napiórkowski and Roman Rogowski (1936−2023). Based on these four viewpoints of Mariology, the direction of its reinterpretation will be shown on the example of the dogma of the Immaculate Conception of the BVM. This year marks the 170th anniversary of the proclamation of this dogma by Pius IX. Reinterpretation is the filling of the dogma with new content in the light of a new horizon of thinking, without, however, contradicting the content previously contained in it. Thanks to the fact that the Immaculate Conception is a meeting, or even a cross between, Christology, pneumatology, charitology and eschatology, it can be reinterpreted as a more perfect sanctification and justification of the Mother of the Lord and as an anticipation of the eschatological Ecclesia immaculata. The concern for ecumenism in Mariology demands that the compatibility of the Immaculate Conception with the Bible be shown. The hermeneutical principle of Mariology should be the letter ‚W’. The immaculate conception of Mary must be incorporated into the immaculate conception of Jesus. A ‚top-down’ Mariology should be complemented by a bottom-up Mariology.Pozycja Ludzkie ciało-uduchowione (Leib) w kryzysie. Co oznacza inkarnacja (Fleischwerdung)Gerl-Falkovitz, Hanna Barbara (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)The article concerns the contemporary anthropological crisis in the field of experiencing human corporeality. The answer to the problems of today‘s man, who struggles with his body and tries to deny it, transcend it or treat it as just a tool, is faith in the Incarnation, which helps find the deepest meaning of matter and body. The first part of the article presents the contemporary crisis with all its features, such as: transhumanism, contraception, so-called gender change and others. The author presents the philosophical foundations of this crisis, perceiving them in the understanding of man as a machine and in the overemphasized idea of self-determination. The second part shows the philosophical and theological meaning of matter and body, which is ultimately spiritual. Contrary to appearances, matter turns out to be a connected with the spirit, and the opposition between the material and spiritual worlds is apparent. Finding the spiritual meaning and foundation of the world can save also the human body.Pozycja “L’amore di Cristo ci possiede” – 2 Cor 5,14–15 nell’interpretazione di San Tommaso d’AquinoDąbrowski, Wiesław (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)In the presentation of the subject – preceded by an Introduction, where St. Thomas Aquinas is presented in his role as a Biblical Commentator – the author examines the St. Thomas’ interpretation of the 2 Cor 5,14–15 regarding the theme of this research, confronted with the contemporary exegesis, and presents four points: I – 2 Cor 5,14 in the Summa of Theology; II – The text of the 2 Cor 5,14–15, his division and commentary; III – 2 Cor 5,14–15 in the commentary on the Gospel of John; IV – 2 Cor 5,14–15 in the commentary on the Psalms. The exposition is theological, biblical, doctrinal, moral, and spiritual, and is not based so much on his speculative philosophy, as might be seen in his systematic theology, but on a truly theological interpretation of the Scriptural texts. All this permits to the author to conclude that the interpretation presented by St. Thomas in the Commentary on the 2 Cor 5,14–15 and in the commentaries on the Gospel of John and on the Psalms is very clear, rich and remains valid and topical and permits to remain in the faith, in the doctrine moral and in the spirituality of the Catholic Church.Pozycja Błogosławieństwo w perspektywie trynitarnej. Wokół deklaracji „Fiducia supplicans”Parzych-Blakiewicz, Katarzyna (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)The article analyzes the content of the Fiducia supplicans declaration in terms of Trinitological themes. To interpret the source, a methodological key formed from the concept of “holiness”, source-related to the Trinitarian foundation of theology and experience of Christian faith, was used. The purpose of the research is to search for and comment on the dogmatic basis of the source. The theological question of blessing consists of the aspect of dynamics in the relationship between God and creation. Therefore, blessing is, on the one hand, God’s gift and, on the other hand, God’s glorification − this is also the structure of blessing in the declaration. In the document, read in a hagiological key, the blessing can be called the “Holy Presence”, God the Father – the “Source of the Holy Presence”, Jesus Christ – the “Center of the Holy Presence”, and the Holy Spirit – the “Vivifier of the Holy Presence”.Pozycja Błogosławieństwo a osoba świecka. Refleksja po publikacji „Fiducia supplicans”Bachanek, Grzegorz (Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II & Towarzystwo Teologów Dogmatyków, 2024)The article draws attention to the need of a broader perspective on the act of blessing and a lay person in reference to the publication of the Fiducia supplicans Declaration. Blessings can play an important role in the life of a lay person by showing the beauty of God’s creation, developing an attitude of gratitude towards the Creator, helping them to get involved in the matters of the world in the right way, using material goods in the right way, rejecting the temptations of the evil spirit. In particular, they help to appreciate the treasure of human fertility, the value of a numerous offspring. God is the one who gives blessings, but He often does it through people. Also, in many situations lay people can and should bless. From the biblical times, children have been blessed by parents, grandchildren by grandparents, blessings are given at a time of greeting and saying farewell, also at mealtimes. All Christians are called to bless enemies. Blessing God and people is an important part of Christian prayer. The possibility to bless results from common priesthood given at baptism. It is even worth to consider the possibility that people who were not baptized, but who are aware of the existence of God and His creation, can bless. At times giving a blessing is wicked. It can be a praise of moral evil and an encouragement to behave badly, blurring the line between good and evil. Among lay people, it awakens a profound sense of being scandalized.
