Abstrakt
Metanoia is the inner transformation of the work of God’s grace from one side, and on the other, the result of human interaction with this particular gift. In Polish define the word repentance or conversion otherwise. Human necessary contribution in this process-is: prayer, fasting, almsgiving, renunciation of sin, additional acts of penance. Conversion by man can be understood as the result of personal repentance. Lent is a favorable period for making such a reflection and mobilization to follow Christ, who gave us example of such a special personal penance. The liturgy of the Church takes this issue both in the celebration of the Eucharist and Prayer of Breviary. The subject of our interest were texts of Liturgy of the Hours. Individual elements are presented in this study. We have seen that the subject of repentance and conversion is clearly in breviary hymns, psalmody, readings, both with the Long Hours of readings and short another readings of Hours, and Requests of Lauds and Vespers. Close reading of these texts and in-depth reflection on them, can effectively contribute to our right formation in spiritual life.
