Posługa duszpasterska salezjanów w parafii pod wezwaniem Świętej Trójcy w Czaplinku w latach 1945-2013
Wiązowski, Eugeniusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)
The first Salesian who on 12th August, 1945 started a pastoral service in the Parish of the Holy Trinity in Czaplinek was Rev. Bernard Zawada. During the period of 68 years, there were 12 parish priests belonging to the Salesian Congregation. Since 1947 there have been 70 priests among the support personnel, 26 of whom have already passed away. There were also 25 assistant seminarians who helped the priests in their pastoral care. There were also two coadjutors in the parish. Apart from the parish church the priests also served in 9 nearby churches. Two of them were built by the Salesians on the ruins of old churches. After the separation from the parent parish and the constitution of three new parishes, there remain now two churches to serve which are located within the town: the parish church of the Holy Trinity and an auxiliary church of the Exaltation of the Cross. There is also an active oratory and 10 different parish communities.

Reakcje społeczeństwa województwa pilskiego na przebieg drugiej pielgrzymki Jana Pawła II do ojczyzny (16-23 czerwca 1983 r.) w świetle teleksów KW PZPR w Pile
Wąsowicz, Jarosław (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)
In the period of the Polish People’s Republic, the pilgrimages of Pope John Paul II to his homeland exerted a great influence on the contemporary socio-political situation in the country, especially in the activation of opposition groups. The Pope’s second visit to Poland on 16th-23rd June, 1983 took place amid the martial law introduced by the government on 13th December, 1981. It was expected with high hopes by the Polish society, enslaved and humiliated by the communist rule. This study portrays the reactions of the Pila Voivodeship community to the pilgrimage of the Holy Father to his homeland as they were presented in the contemporary analyzes of the Provincial Committee of the Polish United Workers’ Party. Those analyses were sent during the Pope’s visit to the Central Committee of the Communist Party in Warsaw. The study constitutes a regional contribution to the historical synthetic reflection on this extremely important event in the last decade of the Polish People’s Republic period.

Zabytki Ziemi Konińskiej wartością kształtującą tożsamość i rozwój kulturowy regionu konińskiego
Nowiński, Janusz (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)
The dynamic development of industry in Konin and its vicinity launched in the 1950s and the issuing inflow of population from different regions have altered the character and perception of Konin and the Konin District. In view of all these new phenomena, it is of major importance to culturally define the latter. It is monuments that constitute one of the essential values consolidating historical awareness and cultural identity of a nation and, within it, of small communities (Heimats). Monuments create priceless legacy passed on from generation to generation, while building the prestige of, not only, the place where they are located, but also, of the whole region. Today’s territory of the Konin District differs from its historical boundaries, altered and trimmed after Poland’s partitions in the late 18th c. The cultural identity of the region was for many centuries shaped by an impressive set of monuments present within the pre-partition Konin District. Also today, the rich legacy of monuments should contribute to the cultural identity and development strategy of the region. The high quality of the historic substance and the Konin Region’s attractive leisure offer promise a strong tourist branding of the ‘Konin District’ whose promotional motto could read: ‘The Konin District ‒ rich in nature and culture’.

Kształtowanie się formy szkaplerza i jego symbolika
Łukawska, Małgorzata (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)
The article contains a brief presentation of the scapular and indicates its origins in the field of working clothes at the close of antiquity. The author of the article complements the literary sources with the iconographic material as well as portrays the changes of its form. The article also illustrates the evolution of the function that the scapular went through – from the role of a habit accessory (in St Benedict’s monastic rule) to the sign of piety associated with spiritual exercises of „good death”.

The Five Dimensions of the APPRO Program: Explanation and Specification

Próba rekonstrukcji aksjologicznych podstaw polskiej polityki społecznej wobec mniejszości narodowych i etnicznych
Kobylińska, Zdzisława (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)
Currently, ethnic minorities make up about 4% of the population in Poland. Social policy in this area underwent a fundamental transformation in the nineteen eighties. Since that time, legislation aimed at safeguarding the interests of ethnic minorities been slowly enacted. On the basis of an analysis of these legal instruments it appears that they were based on a specific axiology whose fundamental feature is the concept of personalism and, arising out of this concept, respect for every individual acknowledging their ethnic, religious and cultural identity. It is essential to recognise the value of ethnicity, human dignity, fraternity as well as of cultural and religious diversity towards the members of other racial and ethnic groups. This axiological catalogue has practical implications in the material and financial sphere which safeguards the legitimate expectations of minority groups wishing to freely develop within their own culture and religion. Therefore, the reconstruction of the axiology of Polish social policy towards ethnic minorities shows that Poland is a country that satisfies the demand of multiculturalism understood as ‘diversity in unity’.

Wybrane aspekty funkcjonowania Dorosłych Dzieci Alkoholików w życiu społecznym
Kałdon, Barbara (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)
This article raises some questions concerning the significance of the family in human life as well as family-related dysfunctions. The author discusses the conditions for the formation of the Adult Children of Alcoholics Syndrome which are associated with the childhood and growing up in a family with alcohol problems. The adult life of such children is often based on a series of irrational and destructive beliefs that allowed them to survive childhood trauma. They tend to found their lives on three basic rules: do not tell, do not feel, do not trust. This group of people is characterized by a series of specific traits and behaviors that have an important influence on their social functioning. Moreover, problems with interpersonal relationships and the self-image affecting Adult Children of Alcoholics make it difficult for them to build intimate relationships. Among people touched with this Syndrome we can distinguish three models (children of iron, children of plastic and children of glass) with three associated patterns of behaviour.

Gruszka, Marta Joanna (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)

In order to achieve this, the author characterizes IVF from the technical, medical and legal point of view. Then, the article shows the relationship between the in vitro procedure and eugenic thought. The third section contextualizes the problem of artificial insemination in the contemporary, human uncritical faith in technological progress. The last part of this article directs the reader’s attention towards NaProTechnology – a method of infertility treatement which can engage both the supporters and the opponents of IVF.

Problemy systematyzacyjne związane ze zróżnicowaniem zachodzącym pomiędzy dekretem poszczególnym a reskryptem w Kodeksie Prawa Kanonicznego z 1983 r.
Dzierżon, Ginter (Wyższe Seminaria Duchowne Towarzystwa Salezjańskiego, 2015)
In the presented study, the author by analysing the content of the definition of legal decrees and rescripts codified in can. 48 and 59 §1 of the CIC, pointed out that these regulations do not contain any explicit components differentiating these categories of acts. In his opinion, the assumptions contained in the definitions do not fully fit many system solutions formulated in other code regulations. The author of the article proved that the difference between the two categories of acts mentioned in the title becomes clear in their formal aspect because a decree in order to be valid should be issued in a written form. In the case of rescripts, however, the legislator departs from this requirement allowing oral legal effectiveness of this type of legislation. Nonetheless, according to the author, the difference between these two categories of acts is not substantial since, in this case, it only concerns the formal aspect of an act.
