Abstract

The article is an attempt of looking at all the problems concerning the question of being and idea in Plato. It tries to prove that Plato's ontology – in principle – does not liquidate the appearing or even pressing monistic traces. However, the project of philosophical behaviour aiming at the discovery of immanent nature of being and the solution of the aporia “Unity – Multiplicity” is reduced by Plato to explaining the theory of Principles (One), Ideas, Mathematical Beings and Factual Beings. The structure of reality (reasoned out “vertically”) was explained by the notion of (philosophically understood) transcendental order constituted by Principle of All which is equal with One, unthinkable Measure, Absolute Reason of What really Is.
