Abstract

The concept of justice by Robert Nozick is one of the best known versions of procedural (formal) justice. The philosopher is a representative of libertarianism, a radical form of liberalism. The main aspect of his theory of justice is (a licence) a certificate of a person who governs his own goods. Nozick postulates to introduce the term justice in holdings, which is analyzed on three levels: justice of acquisition, justice of transfer and justice of rectification. Nozick defines his theory of justice as an entitlement theory and emphasizes causative relationships between the distribution of holdings and work or refrainment from working. The author in his article presents the most important fundaments of the concept of justice.
