The pericope Mt 27,5Ib-53 seems to be drawn up by the evangelist from the material of earlier provenience. It is the Easter hymn sung during Passover, so called haftara, that Mt has utilised in order to express the new statement about the resurrection of the dead. Thus we received the text that is characterised by exceptionally literary unity and very mastery skill.
