Biblijne owoce Ducha Świętego (Ga 5,22-23) na drodze do dojrzałej wiary w katechezie

Artykuł jest teologiczno-katechetyczną analizą owoców Ducha Świętego (Ga 5,22-23) na drodze do kształtowania dojrzałej wiary w procesie katechetycznym. Studium zostało podzielone na trzy punkty: owoce Ducha Świętego, dojrzała wiara i dojrzały człowiek. Analiza tekstów biblijnych oraz dokumentów katechetycznych pozwoliła na wyprowadzenie trzech wniosków. Po pierwsze: to Duch Święty jest dawcą łaski i źródłem dającym wzrost wierze. Po drugie: cnoty, które wymienia św. Paweł w Liście do Galatów jako owoc działającego w człowieku Ducha, należy uznać za cechy dojrzałej wiary. Po trzecie: zadaniem katechezy jest pomoc człowiekowi w odkrywaniu bogactwa darów Ducha Świętego oraz w ich urzeczywistnianiu.

Mark Prensky created a specific division of society into digital immigrants and digital natives. The aim of this article is to reflect on the challenge posed to contemporary catechesis by generations of digital natives. Among the various conclusions should be distinguished: concern for the development of faith of young people from the generation of digital natives, remember to build the right human relationship, learn to communicate with God, care should be taken for a simple language of catechesis that will show a loving Christ, care about the right image of the human person, supported by testimony, care about kind and authentic dialogue with man and with God. Responsible for the religious education of young people are mainly adults, implicitly: parents, catechists, pastors.
Czasopismo naukowe diecezji ełckiej „Studia Ełckie” w dwudziestoletniej służbie nauce i Kościołowi 1999-2018

The aim of the study was to summarize the activity of the journal of the diocese of Ełk during the period 1999-2018 and to outline the development plan related to the reform (2018). The initiation of the project in the form of a scientific journal has created opportunities for the development and publishing of research results carried out by scientists mainly belonging to the diocese of Ełk. Many of them used this opportunity. Sharing the results of our own scientific research was at the same time the propagation of the journal and the environment creating it. The considerable scientific output published in the “Studia Ełckie” in a permanent way inscribed in shaping the scientific awareness of the north-eastern Poland. The presentation of the origins and development of the journal turned out to be difficult as long as there are no detailed written sources. It must be admitted that the history of this periodical, although not too long, is quite rich in various transformations. We should appreciate the effort of not only hundreds of authors and reviewers who co-created the magazine, but also those who, through their commitment and dedication, took care of its shape and development.

W posłudze katechetycznej konieczne jest większe otwarcie się na przestrzeń życia społecznego. W artykule jest refleksja nad działaniem nauczyciela religii w życiu społecznym. Analizie poddano najnowsze dokumenty katechetyczne oraz literaturę o tematyce teologicznej, socjologicznej i społecznej. Poszukiwania naukowe pozwoliły wyodrębnić cztery istotne zagadnienia, które zostaną kolejno omówione. Są to: próba charakterystyki współczesnego społeczeństwa; znajomość środowiska uczniów; pozaszkolna działalność nauczyciela religii i aktywność w przestrzeni życia parafialnego. godnie z paradygmatem teologii pastoralnej zamierzeniem artykułu jest wypracowanie konkretnych rozwiązań i sugestii.

Today’s pastorate is looking for topical models of preaching the Gospel. The article presents Franciszek Blachnicki’s proposition that any pastoral work should be based on the Gospel. Experience shows that a considerable part of Christians do not fully live according to the Gospel. This leads to the conclusion that most practicing Catholics need to be evangelized. The need to preach the truth of the faith is ever more necessary also among those people who are christened, but have never accepted Christ as the Lord and the Savior. Also the postulate of a well-thought out pastorate is distinct, where through a clear vision mature attitudes are formed. Such a model of pastorate based on evangelization ultimately is to lead to building the community of the Church.
Jakiego Kościoła pragnie człowiek? Model instytucjonalny i wspólnotowy w refleksji katechetycznej

The article is the effect of reflection upon the Church. Assuming ecclesial character of catechesis it shows the need for reflection and search of the right model of the Church. There are two models presented: institutional and communitarian. The Vatican Council II was the place and time when these two models came together. At that time institutional model based on a pyramidal hierarchy, emphasizing the legal force, closed to any kind of dialogue with the world changes into communitarian one. The Church is to become a real community of the people of faith yearning to get united around Jesus Christ. It is a community which is open to the dialogue with the world and culture. It is an ability to share the essence of the community: what it is, what it does and what it possesses. In the times when the majority of people are tired of the institutionalization of life, according to the recommendations of the documents of the Vatican Council II one should go towards the community where a personal encounter between God and human takes place.
Katechetyczne i psychologiczne aspekty przynależności do wspólnoty Kościoła w okresie wczesnej adolescencji

Okres wczesnej adolescencji zarówno z punktu widzenia katechetyki, jak i psychologii budzi wiele trudności, a zarazem stanowi wyzwanie dla refleksji naukowej i praktyki wychowawczej. Celem tego artykułu jest podjęcie interdyscyplinarnej refleksji nad przynależnością do wspólnoty Kościoła osób w okresie wczesnej adolescencji. Efekty podjętych poszukiwań naukowych pozwoliły na realizację celu w trzech istotnych punktach. Po pierwsze, scharakteryzowano okres wczesnej adolescencji z uwzględnieniem potrzeby przynależności. Po drugie, zostały ukazane wyzwania społeczne i kulturowe, które stanowią kontekst dorastającego człowieka. Po trzecie, wskazano na konkretne propozycje rozwiązań zmierzających w kierunku praktyki wychowywania w wierze. Dzięki zastosowaniu metody analitycznej i syntetycznej przebadano szereg tekstów teologicznych, psychologicznych oraz poddano analizie badania empiryczne. Pozwoliło to na wypracowanie wniosków oraz wskazanie potrzeby troski o właściwe relacje osobowe, wrażliwe towarzyszenie osobom młodym, prawidłowe przeniesienie doświadczeń oraz dbałość o poczucie wspólnoty.
Promowanie pozytywnego wizerunku katechety (nauczyciela religii)

The aim of the study is to outline the research framework for the issue of promoting a positive image of a catechist (religion teachers). This goal, in accordance with the pastoral paradigm, will be achieved in three points. Firstly, theoretical assumptions will be presented that suggest what this image of a catechist should be like. The second element is the presentation of the results of research conducted for the purposes of this study. The third point is the presentation of conclusions. As the teaching of the Church, the results of research and the long Polish catechetical tradition show, it is necessary to be a witness to a living faith. It is also important to know the teaching material thoroughly and to be a good teacher. Contemporary challenges add communication competence, openness, sensitivity and spontaneity. The binder for all these features is caring for your own image. This necessity, however, comes not from empty vanity but from the knowledge that they will teach in the name of Jesus.

Celem artykułu jest omówienie kluczowych aspektów świętowania zwyczajów w polskich rodzinach. Zamiarem publikacji jest ukazanie ich roli w procesie wychowania w wierze. Podjęte rozważania mają charakter interdyscyplinarny. Wpisując się w problematykę nauk o rodzinie, refleksja łączy w sobie ujęcia pedagogiczne oraz teologiczne. Analiza zagadnienia opiera się natomiast na literaturze tematu oraz na danych z badań empirycznych.
Sympozja naukowe ku czci św. Tomasza z Akwinu w Wyższym Seminarium Duchownym w Ełku w latach 2013-2023

Article devoted to symposiums in honor of St. Thomas Aquinas at the Theological Seminary in Ełk, which were organized in 2013-2023, aims to demonstrate whether and to what extent the postulates (six in number) formulated by the organizers were implemented. The text contains the programs of all ten symposiums. On their basis, data regarding the presented topics, speakers, scientific communities, dates and organizers were compiled. Based on the collected data, conclusions were formulated regarding each of the assumptions. It turned out that all of them were implemented. Some of them to a greater extent than others. The assumption regarding the celebration of Thomas Aquinas Day has been largely implemented, as has the assumption regarding the teaching mission of the Church and the implementation of the postulates contained in the formation documents. The assumption of revitalizing and integrating the scientific community at the WSD in Ełk, as well as the idea of promoting it, was achieved to a small extent.
Szkolne lekcje religii w dobie zdalnego nauczania

The analysis of the issue of school religion lessons, implemented in the distance learning system, allows for the formulation of the following conclusions. First, it should be remembered that the school religion class is part of catechesis. In Polish pastoral conditions, it can be said that it is even a valuable and important element of it. Secondly, while implementing remote teaching of religion lessons, the priority is still the goal and tasks of catechesis, which implement the care for mature faith. Thirdly, the teacher of religion (catechist) should be competent in the field of the latest information techniques, and at the same time should be faithful to the kerygma. Fourthly, a teacher of religion (catechist) should take care of independent preparation of classes, appropriate selection of content, cooperation with parents, as well as be systematic and consistent.
