Pozycja Wspieranie rodzin z problemem uzależnienia od substancji psychoaktywnych przez wspólnoty religijneKalinowski, Mirosław (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)The paper seeks to show the role of religious communities as regards their support for the persons who experience the syndrome of co-addiction. The first part of the paper shows the dynamism of the family system with the problem of addiction and mental, emotional, and behavioural symptoms of co-addiction. The second part seeks to show the religious community as a system supporting the development of man due to intellectual, emotional, instrumental, and material support. The third part presents the specific character of the support given by religious communities to those who experience co-addiction. In this kind of support the stress is laid on the reduction of scripts: “do not talk,” “do not trust, ”do not feel” and the formation of behaviours that are designed to help a constructive solution of difficult situations.Pozycja Rodzina w przestrzeni medialnejJęczeń, Jarosław (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)Contemporary media change the face of human communication. Media also change man and man’s natural environment of existence – the family. A family, where man experiences and learns interpersonal communication belongs to the sphere of multimedia civilisation or the span these media create. The need arises to enquire about the family’s position and men’s position in that span, to enquire about the dangers and possibilities which stem from the mutual presence and communication in the media domain. The article, based on Karol Wojtyla’s personalistic line of thinking, draws attention to human’s special place in the communication process, which stems from ontic-existential fact, that he himself is a person and the communication process itself is a person’s message, which leads to the community of people – communio personarum. These truths indicate the direction for the activities of media spheres, that is broadcasters and man and the family, that is receivers, these areas are, aboveall, transcendence towords the truth oud good of society and individual human bering.Pozycja Konferencja naukowa „Przemoc w internecie – dzieci w zagrożeniu”, Wyższa Szkoła Pedagogiczna, Łódź, 13 grudnia 2005 rokuJęczeń, Jarosław (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)Pozycja Współczesna rodzina polska – jej stan i perspektywy, red. Eric W Rothenbuhler, Mihai Coman, Thousand Oakes-London-New Delhi: SAGE Publications 2005, ss. 350.Jęczeń, Jarosław (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)Pozycja Nowy feminizm” w nauczaniu Jana Pawła IIMroczkowski, Ireneusz (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)The teaching of John Paul II on new feminism is extremely important. The author of the paper shows the ways how to apply this teaching in the dialogue with contemporary feministic movements. The first condition for this dialogue to bring fruits is to analyse anti-feminism in the category of individual and structural sin. Once we analyse the sources of this sin, we may discover common levels for the concern about the elimination of women’s harm. The second condition of a creative dialogue is to include the category of conscience in the theory and practice of women’s dignity. Only true and right consciences of men and women can save the genius of the woman, without destroying her vocation to motherhood and the gift she can give of herself. Then one may notice the woman’s point of view in various domains of social life and use the woman’s gifts of her spirit, the gifts that supplement the civilisation of productivity with the civilisation of love.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z sympozjum „Bioetyczne wyzwania czasów współczesnych”. Katolicki Uniwersytet w Ružomberoku, 11 listopada 2005 rokuWieczorek, Włodzimierz (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)Pozycja Atrakcyjność pedagogicznego przesłania Jana Pawła IIRynio, Alina (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)The presented sources and manifestations of the timeless topicality of the Pope’s vision of upbringing unveil its integral formulation. First of all, it is visible in its, infiltrated by faith, anthropological reflection on human being. It this reflection the integral perception of man is a condition of the integral upbringing. The analysis provided confirms the thesis that the Pope’s pedagogy has at its roots „the adequate anthropology” and the openness of the person’s heart towards the objective truth, including the truth about Jesus Christ who is the „center of the cosmos and history” (RH) and a foundation of the truth about man. Having its anthropological foundation, the Pope’s pedagogy is an attractive one, as it allows to work out a comprehensive vision of upbringing, suitable for the present day. This vision defies the culture of despair and hopelessness, dehumanization, nihilism, existential cynicism and axiological relativism. In this vision science, technology and art, peace and justice, the knowledge of God and the true religion, nature and the grace of God, faith, hope and love - they do not exclude but complement each other. The timeless attractiveness of the Papal pedagogical message seems to reside in the fact that while having as its foundation the compatibility and completeness of man’s picture, it allows to think over the complex issue of upbringing and the personal history of creating the personality of exceptional people. It also allows to bow down before the Catholic interpretation of upbringing and the human lot.Pozycja Struktura osobowości a poziom samoakceptacji u osób bezrobotnych w ujęciu analizy transakcyjnejTomkiewicz, Antoni (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)The paper sought to define the relationship between the level of self-acceptance and the structure of personality in the long-term and short-term unemployed. A group of 120 unemployed people was examined (64 women and 56 men). There were 33 long-term and 31 short-term unemployed women. In the group of men 27 were long-term and 29 short-term unemployed. The average age of the subjects was 35 years. 32% of the subjects completed primary and vocational secondary education, 53% secondary education, and 15% had university degrees. The level of self-acceptance and the structure of personality according to the transactional analysis were determined on the basis of Gough’s and Heilbrunn’s Adjective Check List. The subjects were asked to do the test according to the instruction: “what are you like?” The correlation between the level of self-acceptance and the results in the scale of the transactional analysis of the ACL Test manifested considerable relations between the level of self-acceptance in the unemployed men and the state of personality – a caring Parent, an Adult, and an adopted Child; between the level of self-acceptance in the unemployed women and the state of personality: a caring Parent, an Adult, a free Child, and an adapted Child.Pozycja Rodziny ryzyka socjalnego w Polsce współczesnejKawula, Stanisław (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)In a risk society, also exists the risk family. Direct dangers that generate this issue are: e.g. poverty in society, unemployment, separations caused going abroad, liberalisation of views in an ethic discipline, which arising the increase of both incomplete families and divorces. The reason of these processes is also a market economy, e.g. competition and corruption. Current social policy of our state still should be referred to solving especially difficult issues of family life, such as: protection of motherhood, improvement of children's situations in incomplete families, providing own flat for each family, improving situation of all kind of families, assurance of unemployment benefits for parents, alimonies for single mothers, social and care support for families with many children etc. There are some of the most urgent issues, which can require further improvements in the first decade of XXI century. These issues determine educational effects of school children, their aspirations, plans for future and the shape of personal life. These families require support just now, in a specific period of system’s transformation and its negative results in our country.Pozycja Sprawozdanie ze szkolenia terapeutycznego w zakresie traumatycznych doświadczeń (przemocy, zaniedbania i strat prokreacyjnych), Racibórz Miedonia, 20-25 czerwca 2005 rokuDudziak, Urszula (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)Pozycja Związek opieki z wychowaniem w rodzinieZielińska, Magdalena (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)Family is the basic and natural environment of human life. Every human being is naturally born in there. One can say that the family is the first, the most important, the only and irreplacable environment in e.g. fulfilling its care and educational function. The family has an impact not only on child's health, but also on passing on knowledge, values and culture. It prepares its members to be independent and through social care introduces them to take part in a social life. It teaches already established patterns of behaviour and social rules. The family's right to educate and look after/care is the first and the earliest natural law. Other institutions are second-rate, they should help the family but never replace it. This article aims to point at two most important functions of the family: education and care. It proves that those two functions cannot exist without each other. Specific educational aims can be realised only on the basis of care. The article shows how the care within the family should be undertaken so that it could help achieve aims within different areas of education, such as physical education, education through work, moral education, intelectual education, health education. The author analysing educational and psychological literature talks about “care and education process” in which care effects overtake and determine educational effects. A carer is also an educator, therefore care within the family should be undertaken properly as it causes great consequences in a development of human's personality.Pozycja Medycyna i teologia. Czy studium teologiczne może mieć pozytywny wkład w proces terapii?Wieczorek, Włodzimierz (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)In the light of the theological reflection border experiences connected with the human life and therapy have specific sources and purposefulness. Making efforts to help to understand them can benefit the spiritual and psychological way of living through states of illness, pain, suffering, and fears. In the theological perspective, health embraces the spiritual and physical condition and can be defined as a strength of maintaining the dignity of the human being. It means that maintaining the homeostasy of the human body is not its only character. It has alsosocial, moral and religious range. In the context of the theological thought, the problem of suffering and death do not lose anything from its existential intensity, but simultaneously can be considered in terms of spiritual and creative activities. The theoretical aim of this article is to portray a Christian vision of health, suffering, and death. An attempt at describing the positive influence of the theological reflection on health care, understanding of the necessity of the active cooperation between the patient and health service, and on the feeling of freedom from fear of suffering and death is the practical aim of the article.Pozycja Płciowość ludzka w kontekście miłości. Przesłanie moralne Kościoła, red. Janusz Nagórny, Marian Pokrywka, Lublin: Wydawnictwo KUL 2005, ss. 350.Wyrostkiewicz, Michał (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)Pozycja Rodzina – zagrożona nadziejaPerszon, Jan (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)The article – in a syntetic form – presents the teaching of John Paul II about marriage and family. The first part recapitulates his fundamental doctrine of the communio personarum (marriage as a community of persons), which is the source of the new human life and the unique environment of personal growth for the members of the family as well. The Family, if properly understood, institutes the school of mature humanity (in the service for civil society) and a living cell of Christianity (the domestic Church). The second part analizes dangers which destroy and weaken the contemporary family. The erroneus anthropology and philosophy of consumption are among the essential causes of the family crisis. This crisis has many faces: divorce, birth control and euthanasia, genetic engeneering, artificial conception ‘in vitro’, omnipresence of the „anti-life mentality”, pornography and – as a result – the threat of depopulation. This situation makes the mission of the Church (as the promotor of the truth) indispensable and – at the same time – difficult.Pozycja Małżeństwo i rodzina w planach młodzieży. Przegląd badańZaremba, Agnieszka (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)The author seeks to answer the question about the place of marriage and family in the plans of adolescents. Viewing particular studies, she tries to take a closer look at the problem of their attitudes, concerning the above values over the years. The paper considers such issues as: marriage and family as a value, the most important factors conditioning a decision of getting married, the most important goals of marriage and its benefits, expectations of marriage and family, division of roles in marriage, pro-creative plans, accepted methods of conception, fears and anxieties connected with marriage and family, the relationship to the indissolubility of marriage and its institutional form, and the attitudes towards cohabitation. The studies under consideration confirm some of the phenomena, in others there are some discrepancies. One may say that the youth under study was rather positive about marriage and family. On the other hand one finds more and more tolerance towards the phenomena that are contradictory with the interests of marriage and family. The attitudes vary according to worldviews: religious or secular. This is linked with the transformations in the system of the adolescents’ values, and what follows their different ways to look at some problems and their different choices. In order to state how profound these transformations are and what direction they will take it is necessary to do further research on the relationship of the youth to marriage and family.Pozycja W poszukiwaniu sensu cierpienia. Aspekt psychologiczny i teologicznyDudziak, Urszula; Przygoda, Wiesław (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)The history of man is a history of human suffering. The man from his beginning has not only struggled with suffering, but also sought its sense. There are various causes and multiple forms of human suffering. Disease is one of the most important causes of suffering which affects the most profound strata of the human person. The human person shares pain almost with the whole world, but suffering reaches the mystery of the human spirit, or even surpasses it, leaning on to God. In the whole cosmos only man raises the question about suffering and many times directs it to God. Can suffering have a sense, or rather it is absolutely nonsensical, and pushes the suffering man on to the abyss of despair? The authors answer this question from the point of view of psychology and theology.Pozycja Abstynencja – między profilaktyką a terapią, Kraków, październik 2005 rokuDudziak, Urszula (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)Pozycja „Apostolstwo świeckich a polityka” – sesja naukowa zorganizowana z okazji 40-lecia promulgacji soborowego dekretu „Apostolicam actuositatem”, Lublin, KUL, 18 listopada 2005 rokuWyżlic, Małgorzata (Wydawnictwo Towarzystwa Naukowego Katolickiego Uniwersytetu Lubelskiego, 2006)
