Eine kognitiv-exegetische Analyse. Zweiter TeilDziony, Marek (Redakcja Wydawnictw Wydziału Teologicznego UO, 2021)This article is in the context of cognitive-exegetic research on the text of Scripture. On the one hand, it hooks into the area of linguistics, but takes a step further, towards the exegesis of the prophetic text, in this case the Proto-Isaiah text. The aim of such an approach is to try to assess the usefulness of the method of cognitive linguistics for the analysis and interpretation of the biblical text, and to determine how innovative the results of this type of analysis are, and to what extent it confirms the achievements to date. The research uses the method of conceptual metaphor in the definition given by George Lakoff and Mark Johnson. As a cognitive method, it gives the possibility of a synchronous study of the text, allowing us to penetrate the thinking of the people of the time when the work was created. As a result of the analysis of the text, this method gives a comprehensive picture of the issues of justice that emerges from the text of the book Proto-Isaiah. The research has shown that this method is most suitable for the exegesis of the sacred text, showing a holistic picture of the problem under investigation and its evolution. However, it should be stipulated that only a selected aspect can be studied with this method, and that studying multiple threads simultaneously can lead to chaos and a lack of concrete results. Although the method itself rather confirms the analyses made so far, its innovation is attested to by the fact that it gives a holistic view of the phenomenon under investigation.Pozycja Janusz M. MateuszaBernach, Mariola (Redakcja Wydawnictw Wydziału Teologicznego UO, 2021)The context of the study was an attempt to compare the Old Testament term “Servant of Yahweh” with the image of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew. Critical-literary and comparative methods were used. As a result of the research, it was found that the image of Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew correlates with the image of the Servant of Yahweh in the Book of Isaiah. The conclusions that were drawn are that Matthew was inspired by the Old Testament to describe Jesus in his Gospel.Pozycja Kocioł Ezechiela (Ez 24,1-14) w świetle retoryki hebrajskiejBosowski, Jerzy (Redakcja Wydawnictw Wydziału Teologicznego UO, 2021)The context of the research was that different commentators propose different structures for the text under study. The aim of the research became to work out the structure that the ancient inspired author inserted in the text. For this, the method of Hebrew rhetoric, which was developed by Roland Meynet, was used. It was possible to discover the structure of the studied text. It is a parallel structure with the scheme: A (v. 1a) ‒ B (v. 4ab) ‒ C (v. 6b) ‒ C’ (v. 9b) ‒ B’ (v. 11abc) ‒ A’ (v. 14a). The conclusions that were drawn are the picture of God that emerges from the Book of Ezekiel is God Almighty. The God of Israel can do anything, even make Nebuchadnezzar the instrument of punishment, both of Israel and Egypt. In addition, the study of Hebrew Rhetoric in the Book of Ezekiel should continue, as most of the oracles and visions are still undeveloped.Pozycja Łukasz Florczyk, Bóg Izraela w rozumieniu nie-Izraelitów. Analiza egzegetyczna perykopy Mt 26,26-30Ludwig, Michał (Redakcja Wydawnictw Wydziału Teologicznego UO, 2021)The research carried out is part of a study of the Gospel according to St Matthew, and the motif of the institution of the Eucharist shown in the Bible in four different places (Mt 26:26-30; Mk 14:22-25; Lk 22:14-20 and 1 Cor 11:23-26). The aim of the study was to analyse the text describing the moment of the institution of the Eucharist (Mt 26:26-30). An attempt was made to discover the most important message coming from the given biblical pericope. Three methods were used in the research process (historical-critical analysis, linguistic analysis and intertextual analysis), the application of which influenced the delimitation of the individual points of the work. The results achieved can be put in a few sentences corresponding to the methods used. Namely, described fragment Mt 26:26-30 is the last part of Matthew’s relation about the Last Supper of Jesus with His disciples. The author in editing this passus used Mark’s (Mk 14:22-25) and Luke’s (Lk 22:14-20) accounts, as well as his own material. Next, it should be stated that in Matthew’s description of the institution of the Eucharist, Jesus and His work comes to the foreground, even though during the described supper probably took place also other activities. The author wanted to emphasize the im portance of Jesus’ actions and words ln tbis way. On the other hand, taking into account the theological message of the pericope of Mt 26:26-30, it should be stated that the notions of covenant (Jesus concludes a new and eternal covenant during the East Supper), blood (Christ, giving the disciples to drink his blood, gives them at the same time a share in his divine life) and body (by receiving the body of Jesus during the Last Supper, the disciples thus unite with his whole person) are of fundamental importance in it. From the research carried out we also draw conclusions for further analysis of the text of the institution of the Eucharist in St Matthew. Namely, the analysis of the fragment of Mt 26:26-30 only by the synchronic method, which is the linguistic analysis, is insufficient and requires supplementing with, at least, intenextual analysis. This is how it turned out that the pericope Mt 26:26-30 is very rich in theological content, the explanation of which must be sought in many other biblical books. There were also questions of debate, such as the question of the ipsissima verba Jesu in the pericope, given that there are four versions of the text on the institution of the Eucharist. Looking ahead, one could also consider making a theological-biblical synthesis on the Eucharist on the basis of all four texts of Sacred Scripture treating its institution.Pozycja Określenie tò euangélion w Corpus PaulinumTomczyk, Dominik (Redakcja Wydawnictw Wydziału Teologicznego UO, 2021)The article presents the analysis of the term τò εὐαγγέλιον in Corpus Paulinum against the background of its use in the Greco-Roman world and the New Testament. Having examined the apostle’s texts it must be stated that he does not preach “his own” gospel. Paul highlights that “his” gospel belongs to both God (τοῦ Θεοῦ) and Christ (τοῦ Χριστοῦ). Just as Christ is indivisible, so the gospel He preaches is one (see 1 Cor 1:13). It is the Resurrected Lord of the Universe who is in the centre of the Paul’s kerygma. He Himself is the subject and the object of the Gospel: the One who preaches but also the One who is preached. No other word defines the works and theology of Paul as an apostle so accurately as the noun τò εὐαγγέλιον.Pozycja Papież Benedykt XVI, Mystagogia Benedirti. Studium Mt 21,9 z uwzględnieniem szerszego kontekstuRucki, Mirosław (Redakcja Wydawnictw Wydziału Teologicznego UO, 2021)The paper presents study of the Biblical passage containing shouting “Hosanna” as described in Matt 21:9. For better understanding of the meaning of this word, often treated as a liturgical emotional expression, a wider context was employed, not only the usually referred Ps 118. In particular, several Polish translations of the Bible were analyzed, as well as Septuagint, Aramaic Targum, and Peshitta of Old and New Testament. Jewish liturgy called “Hoshanot” was analyzed to demonstrate the direct meaning of the Hebrew word hosha na used in the prayers. Moreover, based on its direct meaning, the word “Hosanna” was linked with previous passages where blind men shouted for salvation. Noteworthy, the blinds were healed both before and after analyzed event. Since the context indicates the prophetic mission performed by Jesus in the Temple, some attention was paid to the issue of prophecy. It was found that the fulfillment of Jesus’s verdict upon the fig tree indicated inevitable fulfillment of His prophecy upon destruction of Jerusalem. The entire context provided strong ground for understanding that Jesus emphasized His identity as God by words and actions, and the spontaneous shouting “Hosanna” provided a key for understanding of this point.Pozycja Sprawozdanie z XVII Walnego Zebrania i 58. Historical-critical methods and rhetorical analysis (Hebrew rhetoric) were applied. The results have been achieved: a scientific reflection on the Book of Exodus, its structure, authorship and the time of its composition has been made; an analysis of the “Song of Victory” (Exodus 15:1-21); Psalm 136 was examined and compared with the “Song of Victory". A conclusion was drawn: the exodus from Egypt was a work of Gods mercy.
